The day has been advanced and it's time for the last four coaches to do battle once more!

Here is the tale of the tape to this point:

The deadline for these matches is Sunday June 2nd. If you could get them played sooner rather than later I'd appreciate that.

Gruntle, tomorrow earlyish your time would be handy, will look out for you on steam.

I'll look for you on steam then. (I don't know how early-ish earlyish is, but maybe a bit after noon?)

At least we know someone from Hail Caesar will be in the finals

I forget how many hours behind you are, but suspect I won't be able to start a game much after your noon. We'll see how it goes.

Vermin - 2
Helmets - 1

3rd matchup between these sides in 2 seasons ends in a classic 2-1 grind.

Gruntle probably deserved better for his tentacle play keeping my GRs in TZs, but in  the end, it turned out Cheddar Persille is pretty fast.

A dead thrower, dead linerat, and a another linerat with miss next game, but nothing too critical.

Vermin

29/40 dodge
18/23 GFI
7/7 Leap
8/13 Pickup
6/12 Block
Ave Dice 1.67

Helmets

3/4 Dodge
15/19 GFI
7/14 Wild Animal
5/10 Pickup
33/59 Block
Ave Dice 2.15

Two one-turners. Two!

Actually not even that, the first half was just embarrassing, the sure footed Cheddar tripped and fell with the ball twice. Chaos had three turns of only pushing before two sets of double skulls took down the mino. And then completely failed to set up on their seventh turn to do anything with their eighth turn. A lot of spotty coverage and a lack of ball control makes that extra sad. In the second half, KOs and injuries piled up until there was a point where Ramas only fielded 3 line rats but still had al 4 of the overly resilient gutter runners (cheddar's MNG was apoth'd to badly hurt to keep him in) but that was still an easy one turn score for the rats with leap.

Good luck to Ramas in the finals, and carry on the honor of Hail Caesar.

I think had had 3 against me in one-game.

Apropos of nothing, I learnt something in this match.

If you leap on to a loose ball, it scatters away, you don't get to attempt a pickup.

The same if you're pushed on to it. I forget that from time to time, much to my disgust.

Really? I'm sure that in my previous Wood Elf season I leapt onto loose balls in cages and managed to pick them up.----

I was just exclaiming because I looked at the roster, and was surprised that the score wasn't higher. Well done on the game to the Rats however. So its Rats v Humans, or Rats v Vampires in the finals.

Speaking of which, rk47, I think we are in similar timezones - when are you around to play? I should give a heads up in advance, I tend to get busy around the second half of the week/weekend.

You might have to set aside some time during the week then.

For info, I won't be able to play the final till the week after next. So no bother if the other semi drags into next week.
