I only just heard about this yesterday via a friend on Facebook who said it was fantastic.  It's by the same guy who did Primer.

I loved the fuck out of Primer, so I'm going to try to catch this while it's in theaters around here.

It gripped me right from the start so I really enjoyed it, very unusual film and little of that has to do with the plot.

I need to see it again.  Much like Primer, after watching it the first time I said "wait, what?"  But for different reasons -- Primer had a convoluted plot with a very straightforward presentation (as much as was possible anyway), Upstream Color has what I think is a pretty straightforward plot but the presentation is all over the map.

This film blew me away. Shane Carruth is the successor to David Lynch.

One of the best movies I've seen in a very long time.  I think most people will shrug it off as pretentious crap, but I'm wrapped in the puzzle.

I really like how Carruth not only wrote, directed, produced and starred in it.  Oh, and the score was all his, too.  Talk about multitalented.

Watched this last night. Fantastic, loved it. Want to watch it again straight away, with a notebook & pen handy. Primer made me feel the same way. Technically superb too - the cinematography was wonderful and the sound tied right into it.

I think Shane Carruth may be my new favorite director.

I obviously saw a different film called "Upstream Color" to the rest of you. The one I saw was total artwank.

I could pull it apart to put the narrative back together, but it's not worth the effort. The opening scenes created an expectation that were never fulfilled.

Very well shot though.
