Stephen Chow's Odyssey (Journey to the West)

Stephen Chow (guy who directed and starred in Kung-Fu Hustle and Shaolin Soccer) has made a new film which is his take on the old Chinese novel "Journey to the West" - also known as "Adventures of the Monkey God"

For those of a certain age, there was a very popular TV series in the late 70s called Monkey which was based on the same stories. Don't know if it ever reached the US but it was compulsory viewing here in the UK. If you remember it, this'll take you back.
