After just witnessing Ard's reaction to this I thought I'd post it here for a laugh...

Just to make sure we're clear on this, I had to do a double take and make sure this was actually real.  I was wondering if I'd somehow slept in until April when I saw this.

Just, wow. Words fail me.

I do want to remix it to Gangnam Style, though.

I think it's brilliant, and creative, and cute. I like cute. Also, Korean and Japanese culture -and pop culture- don't make me laugh, they interest me. And the girl in the video is an adult, so in case anyone is thinking about pedo-whatever, I don't see it. Kids are a huge turnoff to me, in all possible instances.

You'd have to use HyunA's version, but otherwise I strongly support this.

The part they didn't show was the non-stop circle-strafing while hitting 1, 2, 3 repeat every six seconds.

I honestly don't have much in common with the average person in that game's demographic.

I liked the unicorn catapult.  And someone should mod the falling note attack to a falling grand piano or Acme anvil.

The only thing missing was a twirling transformation sequence into one of those Japanese schoolgirl sailor uniforms.

My EQ Bard could kick all sorts of ass. I only ever fought exactly what I wanted, could avoid entire zones worth of content, and actually enjoyed song twisting, particularly when I could hit that 5th twist on occasion.

This, this is not a Bard. This is some kind mutant Chanter with presumably a Mace wrapped in pedogear.

That last bit is just my Western bias to Eastern aesthetic. But I don't consider that a fault. My 10 year old daughter looks older than that chick, my six year old sounds a lot older, and they both dress a hell of a lot better.

No slight on the game itself. I enjoyed it for a bit, just kinda found it bland and suffering from the usual everything-is-too-goddamned-big/far-apart.

Isn't this from the same coven of corporate asshats who (from afar) mismanaged COH's studio into the ground then closed COH to bury their incompetence?

That's a pretty remarkable misinterpretation of what happened to City of Heroes.
