Elementalist, Engineer, Guardian, Mesmer

Thief, Necromancer, Ranger, Warrior

These are the 'fancy' class armors to show off the characters.  You don't start with these.  From what I have seen, there are three beginning lines for each weight.  There are several weapons styles, so maybe there are more armors, too.  (GW2 wiki probably has tons of info.)

Ugh, good thing I wanted to play a dude mesmer, her outfit bothers me more than anyone else's. I had actually assumed she was the necro.  ACK!

The pic with the armors earlier in the thread aren't the starting armors.  Below are two screenshots, one of the Prostitute Necro starting 'armor' and the other of the freaky small Ranger head.

As I said before, I didn't not touch the head size slider on the Ranger.  It was squarely in the middle.

I see the freaky long necks from GW1 ladies are still there in GW2.

EDIT: Oh wait, that's just an illusion created by her shoulders blending in with the background. Sorta. Maybe.

It's not.  Her shoulders end where the green ends.  I should stress that it was only on Rangers that I saw this happen, which leads me to believe (hope) it's a bug.

Wait, what about a lace teddy and stockings screams "necromancy" to you?

I don't know, ask the art people from GW1 what stupid sheer nighties have to do with being an elementalist?

That outfit actually looks closest to what my necro from GW1 was running around in (only sluttier). And purple, for some reason, is associated with necromancy in my mind (I know my necro was in purple). Green, on the other hand, is a mesmer color ... and the necro's outfit looks closer to what I remember mesmers running around in in GW1. <shrug>

More precisely, that's Japanese fashion kink adopted pretty much wholesale by the looks of it.

They get points for not sticking boobs on female Charr, but they lose points for lingerie Necromancers have to start with.

Also, for some reason my Ranger started with an absurdly tiny head compared to the really long and thick giraffe neck she had.  No, I didn't touch the head size slider during creation.  I left that in the middle on all 4 characters I made and the head/neck thing was only noticeable on the Ranger.

Well this is quite interesting. I found it really interesting.

The spam is there, it added a link in the quote ('cheap lingerie'). Probably tried to harvest posts that had the word 'lingerie' in them so it could do this. May be more of a SEO/pagerank thing than outright "BUY VIAGRA" spam.

I seem to recall some other spammer doing the same in Serious Business a few months back.

More likely a google rankings bot. Anyone not clued into how it works try replying to the post with quote. It's quite obvious what it's doing then.
