Dick Clark has died at 82

My black sense of humor says this is a sign of the apocalypse.  We've truly seen the last New Year's Eve now.

So long, Dick. I was amazed you recovered so well from the last stroke, even if others were creeped out by your continual reappearance.  You were around my entire life from American Bandstand to Pyramid and a fixture each New Years.  You'll be missed.

The past cannot be changed. The future is yet within your power.

I wonder who received his Quickening.

I'm very mysterious when I'm inside you.

Damn.  Botox is one helluva' drug.  why so serious?

But seriously, I think Merusk is on to something...Mayans may have been right?

You call it an accident. I call it justice.

Said this exact same thing at work when I heard about this. I remember being a kid over at my cousin's place for my first New Year's Eve bash - he was there ever since...

So sad, he's been around forever, but it was kind of painful to listen to him on the NYRE shows because it did show just how bad he'd been affected.  I don't think he's had botox though; some people just have good genes.

The end times are not brought on by Dick Clark's passing, but rather that NYE will be hosted by either Carson Daly or Ryan Seacrest from here on out.

Ryan Seacrest has already been the main host for the last few years.

He's been in pretty bad shape for years at this point. Poor guy.

He'll be missed every New Years.  Seems like he had a good life well lived.

Sorry to see Dick finally go.  I grew up with American Bandstand and with him goes an era.
