Orcs vs. Humans it is.  I'm sure this is where my run of luck will fail horribly and the Emperors will stomp me good.  But hey, stranger things have happened, I suppose  why so serious?

Your orcs are good, I've played them before.  I don't take anything for granted or even think I'm the favorite.  Your strength and guard advantage is going to be really tough for me to overcome, and my mighty blow blitzers aren't as likely to help me as they would versus less armored teams.  It's going to be a good, hard fought match.  Looking forward to it.

I'm glad that I don't have to lose against Ingmar's mummies a third time though.  The Emperors are 20-6-3 and two of those three losses are from his damned Khemri.

Your score group has 4 of the 5 teams you already played in it, plus Eclipse. If I didn't know better I'd think you were intentionally trying to set this match up.

Ulysses can have the 3 points. I cannot stomach the thought of playing that wretched Amazon team again.

Ordinarily I would be begging you to suck it up and play our match but why should I be the first team you get a win against? So I'll take the win if that's what you want Haemish.  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

I seriously really really fucking hate playing the Amazon team. It is excruciating. It isn't like a have a chance in hell of winning - the team is that bad and I'm that bad with them.

I don't think you've quite explicitly conveyed your absolute hatred for your Amazon team well enough.  Please, entertain us further with your unequivocal wit and mastery of the English slam-talk that we know you can do oh so much better than what you've hinted at thus far  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly? why so serious? Popcorn

I hear amazons only get good on their sixth match.

You should really play it out *just in case*.

Comstar, I'm on vacation in Toronto this week.  My schedule is pretty open, if you want to schedule a time for us to play I should be able to.  I'm downloading BB through steam now and am about 70% sure it will work on this computer :)  I'll post again in a few hours if this comp can't handle the awesomeness of BB.

The fight of the season is about to go down...will update this post as shit happens.

Let the battle of the  DRILLING AND MANLINESS begin!

8:57 - Match created...I grabbed two kegs of beer.

9:00 - Ruv won the toss and has elected to receive.

9:09 - First blood for me: One of the Blitzers down and out Badly Injured., another KO crowd surfed off the pitch.

9:10 - Ruv responds by badly injuring my Thrower.

9:13 - Turn 3; the ball is knocked out of Ruv's hands and into the crowd.  The crowd throws it back into my endzone -_-

9:22 - Managed to recover the ball, but I've got three Emp bearing down on my carrier.

9:28 - Ruv got it back, and ran it in for a turn 8 TD

9:34 - 1st half over. 1-0 Ruv for the score.  As for players, 10 on the field for me, 7 for Ruv  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

9:52 - Turn 12 TD for the Orcs.  No injuries even :P

10:00 - Turn 14 TD for Ruv.  I think we're done here.

10:12 - Game over.  Ruv takes the match 2-1.  I tried to pull off some Elfish-style bullshit in the end, but Ruv had an answer for that as well.  gg

Emperors 2 - 1 Blackrock

The Emperors have claimed their rightful Drilling and Manliness title.

Pass block finally comes in really handy and Commodus came up with the game ending interception, putting him into level 6 territory.  That was a really great game.  Hats off to Luckton who had me on the ropes for a lot of the first half; we would've ended this game with a tie if I hadn't gotten lucky at the end of the first half.  Apart from that moment I think the game was pretty even, luck-wise.  Just a lot of very fun, skillful play.  Luckton's orcs are stifling with all of that guard going on.  They're going to be brutal in the regular season if he brings them over.

3 Mab's Malignancies - Carnifex  ~vs~  1Pony Elves - Comstar

Thank gawds that's over. Worse season ever. To top it off, one of my throwers got -1MV, apoced to dead. Carinflex played his team well. Only good thing about the game was one of his blocking linesman dead on turn 1 from a rock from the crowd, and a last turn MNG I did with a foul on the last turn.

I'm going to biomass this team. Good riddance.

Teleku and I 'played'. I put that in quotes because we managed about three turns, I got a blitz as athe kick-off result, murdered a bunch of Dwarfs and then Teleku decided that he wasn't having fun anymore so we agreed to end it there with a concession. This was probably for the best as I had drunk many, many capirinhas prior to spotting Teleku on Steam so I wasn't confident about maintaining my usual razor focus on the game.

Also my keyboard had forgotten how to spell common words which was making chat rather difficult.

I levelled a Wight (who took Strip Ball) and a Flesh Golem (who rolled doubles and took Jump Up).
