But...what...I don't even...   why so serious?

May want to toss the NSFW tag on the title, just in case.

If you go into the options you can switch off all of those scenes and pretend they don't exist.

ED: Y'know I think I'll google up that fact sometime. It might be true that the brain cannot really dream what it didn't see...but touch and smell? :The more you know:

Blind people don't see in dreams, unless they spent most of their life sighted.  People born blind or blinded young dream in audio.  Dunno about the touch and smell part.  The only touch sensation I can personally recall from dreams is being warm, which is just what my body was feeling at the time under the blankets, and I don't recall scent at all.  (EDIT:  Just woke up from a dream where I was off in the wilderness being chased by bears, and definitely felt while I was whaleing on one with a pillow, and the other was prodding my back with its muzzle as I was booking away.  So I can feel more in dreams.  Not sure how often I do.)

On a slight tangent, there was a blind girl I hung out with when I was a kid, sadly not built like Lily though she was blond.  She fascinated me, so I was often her seeing eye dog when the group would go out and she needed someone to lead her through unfamiliar places.  She was a pianist, which just sorta helped add to the coolness factor.  But anyways, where Lily sort of drops the ball, character-wise, is that there's a little bit of an uncanny valley with (lifelong) blind people.  Their eyes roll and twitch seemingly at random instead of staying straight or looking in the direction of where their attention is focused, and their poise and expressions seem a little... off.  Since they can't observe other people very well and mimic what they see the same way sighted people pick up social customs, the result is the occasional weird expression or odd gesture.  Her head was also almost constantly in motion; I suspect she was tracking sounds and echoes to get a better idea about what was going on around her, but I never asked.
