Was just wondering if anyone else is having error 9000 issues. Server lags out about once an hour on me.

Seems to go in spurts. Sometimes I'll be fine for 5 hours, then I get horrid lag for a few hours at a time. Makes it so tradeskills are about the only thing I can safely do.

Had a few disconnects (9000 is the one that dumps you to the server select screen, right?), but most of my lag happens due to the hard drive being slow.  A lot of it trying to load sound bits.  I've tried travelling with the sound disabled in the UI, didn't help much.  I did have horrid lag once in the Tython starting area, and switching to instance 2 immediately fixed it.  Shrug, sorry can't help much.

I've had it off and on.  Never disconnected during the beta weekends or the first few days of the head start.  Around the 17th or 18th started getting the disconnects every half hour or so on average, it went away again at launch, started up again on the 23rd, and has been an ongoing problem since then.  Last night though I managed to play several hours without a disconnect.  Tried pretty much every workaround suggested from basic stuff like resetting the modem, running the game as an admin and in xp or vista compatibility mode, to more technical things like messing around with DNS settings, none of which have worked.

Used to have them a LOT.  Since the last patch I've had one in three days and that was after five hours of playing.

Had them on Taris even after the supposed miracle cure patch for issues there. Got the hell of that forsaken rock doing story missions only and haven't had trouble since.

Although my latency was fucking terrible last night

I've started getting this over the last couple of days.

My latency hasn't changed, I'm still pinging 100-120ms to the server, which isn't bad for a US server considering I'm in the UK. Also it doesn't seem to be related to server population - it's happened to me when Shien has been at Medium. Wonder if it could be a client-side thing, something to do with caching or something?

After the last patch I started getting horrendous lag in certain areas.  Turns out the setting to increase polygons was making it go bonkers.

I forget the exact name, but taking it from high to low made all the difference and everything still looks fine since my textures are set to high.

Hahahaha!  I'm really good at this!

I also get error 9000 sometimes. Not too frequently. I had assumed something on the internet route just lagged out.

Haven't had any problems since the uber lag I got once or twice during the head start.  I think the game is killing my video card though.  One of the fans is start to malfunction pretty bad.
