Holy shit. It's great. Just hit maps and my gear is pretty close to this and I just cleared a T10ish map with ease at level 68.

A lot of key presses though. 1-4 Flask, Blade Vortex, Blood Rage, Plaguebearer not that bad though. You just walk through shit and it all dies.

Gotten some decent drops lately, just mostly due to my hiero getting to tier 16+ content and being able to handle it well. Blight maps have also been pretty profitable. Probably have enough currency to either make a herald abuse character (well start anyhow), switch to low life, or try some stupid build that pops out of my mind.

I'm going to bring this character to the end, if I have the resolve, and if I can farm some drops it'll be the herald abuse character for shits and giggles. That will get nerfed forever.

They did. It was that good. It's still the best build in the game.

It's probably a mirror or two of cluster jewels and gear.

They already nerfed the interactions with Solstice Vigil, tailwind, etc, which were item effects coded as auras. They changed it to only work on auras from skills.

It's still incredibly stupid powerful.

It's stupid. Not much investment and I'm sitting at 93k dps per poison with BV for a total of 700k dps. Not including HoaG and Plaguebringer

Wave 20 down in Simulacrum. It's like 3mil dps (per brand? I don't know how pob calculates brand dps) and feels like it. Wave 17 Kosis went splat. Could be much tankier, but I prefer having Arcane Surge on spell hit and element immunity.

I still die to being a dumbass and recasting my brands when there's chaos damage around.  Not sure that I'll get much beyond lvl 93 unless I fix some of my gear that's not quite up to par. Just very broke right now.

I'm trying to build a ghetto version. It's not going so well. 

My hiero is somewhat stuck at 93. I keep friggin' dying. I think my effective HP is too low, and I'm also too bad to rely on not recasting my brands when I need that mana to tank chaos damage. Does way enough damage for everything so there's not really a big push to go higher. I would like one more point, just so I can fix my light radius.

Finally found another build that I like. I spent all night changing my vortex occultist into a stone golem elementalist. This build is pretty fucking funny. You have an army of super charged, tiny stone golems slamming everything into dust. I had an explodey chest left over from my latest failed wander (why can't I make a decent wander ever). It can already do red maps and is pretty absurdly tanky for not being near optimal at the moment. I have to buy some more regrets and alt orbs.  

Plus, thanks to the current "make this broken ass build or don't bother" meta, minion stuff is pretty damn cheap.

I started a necro VD spell slinger and I'm in act 8 and level 62ish. Very fun and you don't need gear to make it work. It scales off of rares and stats.

To add, what I mean by little investment is that I hit level standard leveling uniques and nothing fancy and I was doing a shit ton of damage and I was speeding through things quickly. I don't have any of the gear in the post.

Looking at both the life and low-life versions of the build, that one's a pretty affordable way to go. Your six-link is probably the only thing that's going to be > 1 exalt.

I can't play the build. It shits on my old ass PC. Especially recently. My PC took a nose dive in performance for some reason in this game. I really need to upgrade.

Are you sure it's your PC and not just the servers? I couldn't play this league because I never had ping less than 500ms no matter what time of day I logged into. I assume it's just people hammering it because they're staying at home, but it made things unplayable.

I don't think I've had a ping higher than 30-60 most of the time. How the fuck are you getting 500+?

VD is pretty bad for performance. It creates 60 heat seeking death balls with very little effort (it used to be uncapped). Combine this with all of the desecrate spam and possible corpse explosions for the build, and you crap out most setups. A lot of streamers that were using that build in hardcore ended up dying due to lagging out.

I haven't been on in a few weeks, but for the first month or so of the new league it was fucked. The Washington DC server (which is my closest) had like 300ish ping but crashed on zoning in about 30% of the time, Texas was stable but 500-1000ms.

Started a bleed bow gladiator. Still working on the gear, as most of it is awful at the moment. Clears pretty well and the bleed pop sound is one of my favorite things in the game. I'm just not playing a whole lot, so I don't really care if it does Delirium content well.

Apparently there's an exploit where you can use gilded fossils and horizon orbs to generate exalts and mirror shards.  This may have been in the game for a while now and small groups of players have been using this to basically print money. It got out due to a Korean youtuber putting up a video of him doing it. They should probably just ban anyone that made over 10ex doing this. I imagine this fueled a lot of RMT and wouldn't be surprised if a lot of "I play expensive builds" streamers used it as well.

In other news, due to covid related work issues, the next league is getting delayed by a couple weeks at the very least. That's fine.

I got my stone golem build to the point where I only die to bullshit (dd). Getting Divine Flesh up and running is huge boon. At 89 chaos reduction and 50% ele taken as chaos, you mitigate a ton of damage. No huge spikes from normal means. Maybe I'll reroll the hiero into something else. Try a cheapo herald abuse build.

I got the arc ignite build to 80 and it's annoying as hell to play, but potent. Not the best build anyway.

I'm playing one of Torstein's power siphon builds. Pretty powerful, but I'm not in maps yet. You just run and click and things explode.

There are some optimizations I can make as my life total is really low (4.3k), but I mostly only die to detonate dead. You could switch to a more costly two hander and possibly fit in spectres for power/frenzy charge generation. It's not that expensive of a build in general, but there is a decent amount to get and if you're doing Divine Flesh, the resistances can be a bitch to optimize. The choice of body armor is not set in stone, you could go for anything there. But with Brass Dome, the damage coming in isn't very spikey (outside of corpse explosions). All of the conquerors are jokes, as the 100% impale means you do awesome boss damage. I'll probably do Sirus tonight and get yet another shitty helmet.

I have two cluster jewels with just 1 slot and rotten claws in them.  To get the few that have two jewel slots with the two notables on them I'll need to snag 2ex which is basically everything I have right now in liquid currency.

I don't really need them since my dps is stupid high. Highest dps I've played while leveling.

Fun build so far especially with stampede boots.

Spawns Sirus for the first time. My potato computer can't handle that fight and I just die.

Also my golemancer just doesn't have the survivability yet for that fight. I need to 6L my brass dome and get more hps on my gear.

It was fun farming up to that point though. Having to farm up all the conquerors over and over is annoying.
