Just a note, I hit a spot where Mako's quest took me to Nar Shaddaa for a level 48 companion quest...the mob was a level 38 gold. So you might want to try it early just in case.

At least some of the companion quests are also entirely noncombat. So, yeah, just try it.

I started taking level seriously when her previous mission got me jumped by two +8 mobs, both strong or better.

Jovian needs to meet Kylantha.  She's not nice but does things similarly.

I've actually felt a bit guilty at times at some of the stuff my evil Inquisitor(s) have done.  That being said, this is the first Bioware game in a long time that I've had fun playing an evil bastard.

Yeah, I gotta say some of the stuff my agent does is just  ACK! why so serious?.

It's amusing how dark side choices on the republic side are "take this uberweapon for the republic instead of destroying it" / "kill my longtime nemesis instead of taking him prisoner" while on the sith side they are "perform genocide on this planet's natives, then take this stray puppy, bite its head off, shrug, and walk away".

As my inquisitor would say, "Yawwwwwn."

I traded in my fun blog for several legal blogs. Or, "blawgs," as the cutesy attorney blawgosphere likes to call 'em.

Yeah, I figured as much, since she wasn't a class-specific lady.

Yeah, seriously,  the Sith storylines are not just the old Bioware, "Evil is being kind of a dick." They are "Evil is trying to make Hitler look like a little girly amateur."

What I enjoy is I have been called out several times for not being a douche canoe so far. I love that even the NPCs are like "What is wrong with you?" It's like they spent a bunch of time stressing out about what an asshole I was going to be to them, and are annoyed they wasted the energy.

I know you can turn the visual off and all but it's kind of dumb to have a smuggler who is Light Side III get some varicose veins just because he's also got 1k dark side points. I'm not Sith-y, I don't have Force powers, etc.: surely not everyone in the SW universe who does something bad gets glowy red eyes and a skin condition. Jango Fett looked pretty clean-cut to me.

My understanding has always been that sith corruption is based on net alignment.

Corruption on my dark side guys has always occurred exactly as they crossed the dark I/II/III alignment levels.

I agree it makes no sense outside of force users - but don't see the problem if you see it as a customisation option.

Same; my consular has 1850 dark side points at the moment but you'd never know, because she's at net +3650 and could easily do the "after" cosmetics commercials.

I started seeing varicose veins when my smuggler was at Light Side III in net alignment, so I wonder if it's not net, but just on X number of dark side points. He's got cybernetic eyes so it's hard to tell whether he was getting any glowiness.

Sadly, the eyes do not glow. Just turn blood red.  Ohhhhh, I see.

Not spoilering this because it's not really a spoiler:

The order you get your companions, and how long you go before getting them all, is fucking retarded for some classes. There is zero reason the inquisitor should wait as long as it does for its second companion, let alone how long they wait for their healer, for example. I love the companions, but they could've done them way better in this regard. ><

Ouch. That's.... much longer, alright.

Guess it doesn't matter too much for the sorcerers but their stabby cousins... probably going FML.

Although on the other hand when i think about it, i pretty much rolled with Qyzen all way to Hoth and through it. The combined dps was generally more than enough to get stuff dead, and faster kills made up for the downtime afterwards.

It's not as if his backstory is making that necessary either.

Also, not that impressed with the end of act 2
