Gruntle, it would be really good if we could play sometime today. I'm flying out tonight on a vacation for over a week, and the people I'm staying with only have macs. So, message me if you come online at all today and are available.

Waitsing 2 - DSG 0.
Nothing overly exciting to report, I don't think there were any serious injuries.

I've got in-laws in all week but since Thursday is Thanksgiving, I'm off work on Friday so I might be able to get a game in then. I'm GMT -6 so your 6 pm is my noon time. I'll coordinate by PM's a bit later this week.

Obviously, I missed that opportunity, but hopefully we can play our game as soon as is convenient when Teleku returns. My apologies to everyone.

Bann, I'm out sick right now so I can't really predict the windows where I'll be feeling well enough to sit at the keyboard for a whole game. I'll try to catch you when I can.

Cancklebiter and I just played our match, final result was 2-1 to him after a brutal slugfest with plenty of injuries one each side.
He scored quickly after 3 turns and I was set to score equally fast until his wizard lightning bolted the Beastman en route to the endzone. Luckily I was able to pick it up again and run it in the next turn to even the score. For the second half the injuries and KOs from the first half took their toll, I made 2/10 KO rolls in the whole game. Outnumbered as I was 2 to 1 I had nothing to screen the short kick with and after a bit of a skirmish, Ben got the ball and broke free with it to score the winner on his turn 15.
Match is up on BBManager.

My new losing streak is reaching EPIC PROPORTIONS as my goats go down 1-0 to Bann and special guest star Lord Borak (he gets around.) I had a chance to tie at the end but some fumbling combined with SPP greed trying to score with JUST the right guy cost me.

Pretty much what ingmar said. I think there may have been enough blood in this one that I'll probably get Borak next match too. Someone needs to invent better goat armor and send it my way, stat.

My Little Beasties | 1 - 0 | Occupy Goatville
Another low scoring game- it would have been 2-0 but for a failed short pass on the 2nd last turn. One beastman out for both sides next game, 2 Badly Hurt and a skill up each. I had a lot of Nuffle's luck in dodging and GFI's, and Falconner had all the bad luck with fouler's being sent off and failed GFI's when he needed them. A not particular thrilling game for both sides though.

Looking at the BBManager report seems like I haven't been that unlucky at all, which says a lot about how biased we can be. On the other hand, we all know that a coupled of terribly placed fuck ups are worse than simply bad dice. What killed my game has been a streak of four 1s on 2 consecutive gfi, with rerolls. This happened in the first half and they would have given me very good chances to prevent Comstar from scoring. And it's heartbreaking to roll 1 on a gfi, reroll, and get another 1. Then on the next turn the same identical thing happens again, and you know that your monitor is seriously at risk.

Yeah, overall average of dice is not always the crucial thing, and BBManager's statistical tools leave something to be desired on that front (there has got to be a more sophisticated way to analyze 2d block dice distribution, for example.) But it's definitely still useful to help check against that 'the dice hate me omg' bias.

Man I hate this game sometimes.
Should have won 2-1, lost 1-0. Some poor play in the first half to leave myself out bashed, and some poor play in the second to not score quick enough and relying on the fickle gods of nuffle, who failed me every pickup and bounce they possibly could.
Smashed Ruvaldt's team to bits, but it's no consolation really. I dislike losing! He played well to defend and stop me scoring, aided by some elven dodging from his goats.
I rolled four levels ups, so the league now has a wrestle player, another claw/mb, and a third mb for my side.

It was a tough game, and exciting to the very end. Really, I was on the edge of my seat most of the match.
By the end though I only had four left on the field, and all of that was from casualties. Granted, one was from a rock that nearly killed one of my goats, but you really beat me up good, Lamaros. Three level-ups for me, and I think Lamaros got four. Chocolate Jesus has blodge so that's awesome. I'm down three players next game against Haemish.

I fail to pickup the ball 3-4 turns in a row, and then on the last turn this punk casually snatches it up off the ground and throws a pass to level himself up. A disgrace! Very poor sportsmanship to throw that in the face of my struggling goats after already having sealed the win.

The Horns of Wrath 1 - Triptykon 0
The Wrath pick up their first victory of the season but this was a match that Haemish was possibly unlucky to lose, I say possibly because due to the fantastic Cyanide UI Haem managed to click end turn by mistake in turn 15 and all my risky re-rolless moves came off to snatch the win.
I had more 460k of inducements so took the Chaos Warrior star player and 2 babes and won the toss electing to receive and the first move of the star player was to KO Haem's only guard player who I am pretty sure stayed KO'd for the whole match. However despite the early advantage Haem's kick was a really good one that put the ball right on the sideline and not in range of any of my players to pickup in the first turn so I hit what I could and moved players into place. The half progressed and by turn 4 I was bogged down still inside my own half but had opened a clear channel up the sideline with players spare to move into cover, however this didn't take into account a suicidal blitz where a non skilled goat dived into 2 tackle zones succesfully and sacked the carrier, unfortunately Haem's luck crapped out at the point as the loose ball was caught by another of my goats and since there was no one else who could move or bash him my next play cleared him of his marker and ran him up the pitch. Haem had 1 player in range who could stop an almost certain touchdown by me but he would be required to make 2 dodges then a GFI blitz and score a pow/stumble so I was quietly confident I was going to score, but I didn't account for the +1 agi as the goat made the dodges with ease and knocked over my carrier and made his way up the field but flubbed his pass to put the ball totally safe. With I turn to play I have an outside chance of still scoring but it will need a re-roll less GFI from a reeceiver and a pick up and pass to make the completion, unfortunately my plan fell apart at the first step when the receiver failed the GFI attempt ending the half 0 - 0.
Second half Haem receives and again we scrum around the halfway for a few turns but eventually Haem forces a way through, however while I am not scoring csaualties I am scoring KO's as the half progresses and though Haem parks his beastie with the ball 1 tsquare from the goal line he elects to stall for an extra turn which leaves me with an open path blitz which pops the ball free, I mark up anything that can reach the ball and run a guy back to make the pickup. At this point I am a long way from safe but this is the point where the UI fucks Haem up the ass and he clicks end turn by mistake. I offer to accept the draw since I didn't deserve the win but Haem mans up and says it was his cock up so if I can score do so and with that I run up make a hand off with no reroll and then run a goat from half way into score range again making the required GFI's. On the final turn Haem can't reach me with any of his players and I make the required single GFI to score on turn 16 for the 1 - 0 win.
Not a particulalry vicious match, I scored 1 casualty and 4 or 5 KO's and I think Haem managed 4 KO's but the star player was worth the money as he steadily KO'd Haem's team down for me in the second half though the numbers on the pitch wasn't really the deciding factor in the game but rather Haem's decision to stall an extra turn then finishing his go by mistake. Still i think it was a good match and enjoyed that, was damn hard work.
match is submitted on BBmanager.

I may watch that one. Sounds like an exciting match. I'll validate it now so you can do level-ups if you got any.
I see two other matches up, but I want confirmations from Comstar/Falconeer and Ingmar/Bann before validating them.

Sorry, I wish I could say I'd get my game done soon but instead I may be holding everyone up a little while longer -- the match has to wait until Teleku returns (not sure when that is).

Mammals tie Breaking Wind 1-1 in a game where I tried a bunch of stupid shit that didn't work, and Llyse lost much of a turn to girlfriend issues, so a tie is probably fitting. I'll upload it now. Edit: omg stats

Edit: omg stats Overall a great, semi non serious game where my brain stops working and I use a fireball to which not only doesn't fizzle but hits all 3 goats and breaks armour allowing me to pick up the ball and pass to another goat preventing a late 2nd half score.

Teleku and I played our game to an astounding 1-1 tie. Astounding only because it seemed so lopsided: Teleku had the early Nuffle favor (or I reaped some early Nuffle hate) and never stopped building a growing number advantage through out the game, put up the first score (early) and then somehow pissed Nuffle off or maybe Nuffle just decided to spread the hate everywhere. My defense collapsing on the field, I grabbed a lucky break when Nuffle had turned his back to kick Teleku in the nuts (double skull rerolled to both-down after he couldn't drag down the ball carrier) I managed to streak a goat to the goal line and somehow threw the ball to him successfully... Teleku graciously forwent lightning him, allowing me the tying score (though when Teleku did employ his wizard on his next drive, it was a dud fireball which didn't clip a single of its three targets when a big success might have cleared Teleku a path for a straightforward scoring drive).
In the end, Teleku racked up 3 casualties (1 of which was almost the death of my newer +ST goat, but for once an apothecary did its damn job and saved it) seasoned with an additional 5 KOs (1 of which i think actually returned to the game eventually) against me and leveled a goat (the guy there for the free drugs), I managed 0 injuries and 1 KO (who also returned to the game) but my MVP leveled.
Uploaded to BB manager but here is the brief breakdown:
