Evening being after 6pm PST for me, no not tonight. I already have plans I can't shake. Any other night this week, yes!
I can also do early mornings (starting before 8am or so) if you are into that sort of thing.

Yeah work usually crushes that in the mornings with the time difference. Let's try Tuesday after 6PM your time.

The Mutiny loses, 1-0, but I made him pay for it by killing one of his blitzers (+mv, guard). I also made him sweat, if I had made a particular dodge, there was a good chance I would've pulled out a Norse bullshit tie again. But by the same token, had he failed one of his two GFIs to score his one TD, it might've been a 0-0 tie instead. So hey!
No one went up, but my MVP actually went to someone who deserved it: Flint Ironstag, my tackle linesman, was worth his weight in gold today. He was even the one who killed someone!

In the game of the girls team vs the girls team, the result was very close and came down to a failed dodge on the last turn.
The Mutiny | 0 - 1 | F13 Catfighters
The Norse took a the grab bag of inducements - a reroll, a wizard, a babe and an extra apoc. The Apoc's ended up just stunning KO's and the Wizard was used too early.
I played badly the first half, spending too much time trying to cause injuries than get a touch down before having to panic and make a short pass and 2 GFI's after I started taking more causalities than the Norse. This resulted in one of my Star Blitzers with Blodge/+1MV/Guard getting KILLED and then KILLED by the apoc. Another lineswomen was Badly Hurt and several KO'ed.
Sjofn played a conservative game in the second half, setting up a deep cage and then getting stuck on the mid-yard line for several turns but stopping the Amazons from striking the ball carrier. When they did get a shot, it resulted in a Attacker down but the ball only moving 20 yards forward. Eventually 3 Norse made a break for it but were pinned on the side line one short pass from the end zone. The Sidestepping Dancing Amazons then danced all around the ball carrier but couldn't knock him down, before tackling the Norse passer as he tried to make a dodge out before a pass to the TZ.
Amazons have one Blitzer who needs to be replaced, one badly hurt and no skill ups. The Norse have no injuries but no skill ups either.

I used the wizard to clear the side I was about to trundle up (plus it was your good thrower or good catcher that wound up leaving the game, I forget which now) so I'd do it again. I suppose being able to zap the blitzer who was in my face for the pass would've been nice, but getting that far up the field might not have happened without that one turn of clear movement.

Beardstorm! thoroughly pummeled some skeletons to take out their frustrations after two weeks of Norse/Wood Elf last second irritating ties: Beardstorm! | 2 - 0 | Burrowing BeetlesTeams | Beardstorm! | Burrowing Beetles | Race : | Dwarf | Khemri | TV : | 1930 | 1730 | Treasury : | 160000 | 120000 | Rerolls : | 4 | 4 | Apothecary : | 1 | 0 | Fan Factor : | 6 | 7 | Cheerleaders : | 0 | 1 | Match Report | Beardstorm! | Burrowing Beetles | Score : | 2 | 0 | Touchdowns inflicted : | 2 | 0 | Touchdowns sustained : | 0 | 2 | Passes : | 1 | 0 | Catches : | 1 | 0 | Interceptions : | 0 | 0 | Knockdowns inflicted : | 20 | 9 | KOs inflicted : | 3 | 0 | Injuries inflicted : | 8 | 2 | Deaths inflicted : | 0 | 0 | Tackles inflicted : | 2 | 0 | Yards gained passing : | 8 | 0 | Yards gained running : | 78 | 22 | Ball Possession (%) : | 51 | 39 | Own occupation: | 60 | 39 | Opponent occupation : | 39 | 60 |

The battle of the unliving is over; And it's a 2-0 win to the Alive Not Dead!
This was always going to be a tough match for Cancklebiter getting 600k of inducements. The game sweeteners picked were a halfling chef, bloodweiser babe and the utility Nekbrekeh (Strip ball, block, break tackle, juggernaut star). Sadly the halfling chef was only worth 1 Michelin star stealing 1 reroll per half. This was nullified by the cheering fans and brilliant coaching giving Alive not dead and Llium crushers another reroll. Alive won the toss and electing to kick onside for some early excitement.
It started off well for the Undead Llium living up to their name, crushing Rob the freshly reanimated dead with no chance for regeneration. Dominic, another line zombie was KOed until the last drive of the match. With that the fullback ghouls attempt to secure the ball but a reroll used on a failed block and a fumble results in a turnover!
Having lost control of the centre, the wolves go all out and rush for the hapless ghoul backfield while tying up scrimmage line. The ghoul defending is KOed as Calvin happily bounds towards the Touchdown line with the ball. Cancklebiter responds best he can by freeing a Mummy to shamble after the Legendary player. With only an incredibly strong (and slow) pursuer, Calvin played ring around the Mummy while the rest of the team got their bash on. Getting bored of tag, Alive not Dead score in turn 7.
The return drive results in a riot and the Ref turns back the clock giving some small hope of an equaliser. After some pushing around however the first half still ends 1-0 to Alive Not Dead.
The 2nd half continues along the same vein with the guard advantage giving the veteran runner ups the edge and run in for an easy score on the 15.
Well played to Cancklebiter who graciously gave up his lunch to play sadly Nuffle favoured the more developed team with both block and D6 rolls (It felt like I rolled the most skulls I had in a while though).

We're probably going to need a reset here. Frozen in the second half. Was a fun little game. Injuries on both sides, Ogre throwing masterclass, etc.
Dunno when we're going to get to play another time, we're both busy when the other isn't for the rest of the week. If we can find a time we'll try, but not sure we will get it. If we can't we're both happy to call it a draw.
Someone come online and reset the game now!

And it was such a good match too! Sid Vicious was throwing the ball and snotlings were catching it. Rats were tearing snotlings to pieces. The Rat Ogre went down with a -1MA injury on a both down that it caused I'd like to give it another go but as Lamaros said, if we can't find a time then I'm happy with a draw.

Cloudpunks barely hold on for a 2-1 win over the Gentleman's Club.
Everything was going smoothly after a relatively controlled (and extremely long, due to a riot and a blitz) first half, with the Wood Elves up 2-0. But the Gentlemen turned on the Casualty Switch in the second half, breaking armour and elves (and fouling nonstop!) with increasing alacrity while Niccolo Machievelli scored his first TD of the season. The Cloudpunks received with six turns still left to play and more or less wilted into their own backfield, desperately trying to keep hold of the ball while their opponents smashed them around.
Luckily, for all that the Gentlemen were able to dispatch my line elves with ease, they could not manage to do the same to my Wardancers, who repeatedly saved the day, catching bouncing balls (and innacurate passes) and eventually leaping to safety on the final turn (using up my single, carefully-saved reroll for the half.) My newest Wardancer, Stratus Fractus, scored both the Cloudpunks' touchdowns and looks forward to rolling +agility as soon as the game is approved.

The Chemical Elvers escape with a 1-0 victory over South Park Smackdown. It was exactly the kind of bloody mess that should have favored the Chaos, including one DEATH, but one turn of elfish antics was the difference maker.
The Chaos received (with Morg, some mercs, and various rerolls/babes) and immediately set the tone. Morg made the first block and KO'ed a guard elf, a CW made the second block and BH a wrestle elf, and the goats proceeded to mark up everyone else in range. The ball carrier did not cage up, and the coach clearly underestimated the power of Galvanize, my 4 ST/5 AG powerhouse (though he did blitz him early and often). Galvanize dodged past a few hapless beasts and got a 2D block on the ball carrier... that came up Both Down/Both Down after reroll. The ball popped out and was quickly recovered, and the Smackdown lived up to their name and put 7 of the remaining 9 elves on their backs. However, again the Chaos Warriors were used to mark elves rather than cage up, and again the elves were able to knock down the ball carrier. However, they failed a dodge to get to the ball, and a large scrum ensued around the ground with the ball. Elves do not fare well in scrums, and at one point +ST/AG elf got a MNG injury that the coach chose to Apoc to a BH. Eventually the scrum moved toward the elf endzone, and it looked like a Turn 8 TD was inevitable. However, nothing is ever set with the elves, as they managed to recover the ball in Turn 7, hold on to the ball (thanks to a failed Loner reroll by Morg), and complete a Long Bomb into the end zone for a shocking 1-0 halftime lead.
The Elvers received in the second half and the ball was immediately caught by Galvanize, which went directly against the coach's game plan. The Chaos put up a staunch defensive front, keeping all elves marked and leaving no gaps in their line. One by one the elves left the pitch, and none were able to get any separation or stretch the field. The ball carrier retreated further and further back and to the sideline, and finally my Level 4 Blodging Sidestepping blitzer met his death. This absolutely broke the elf spirit, but luckily the Chaos coach seemingly missed an opportunity to blitz the ball carrier, opting instead for marking him and knocking over other bodies. This pattern repeated itself another turn or two as the elves ran for their lives (and the chaos failed loner rerolls). By the time someone finally caught the slippery ball carrier, it was too late for anyone to score. The match ended with a classy turn 16 foul that broke an elf ankle. TYPICAL CHAOS!
If I never see another goat it will be too soon. I honesty did not expect to STOP a TD at the end of the half, let alone somehow score one myself. And the second half Chaos defensive stand was impressive, I was very lucky to escape with the victory. I had 47 successful dodges, but it wasn't nearly enough. I am NOT looking forward to my upcoming dwarf match, especially without my beloved Loops of Fury.
This victory is dedicated to you, Loops... RIP my blodgy friend!

Zellar Dwellarz 2 - Bleating 2
What a MOTHERFUCKING match. You have to describe the match with plenty of motherfucking because the motherfucking motherfuckers were out. By turn 5, I thought I was dead. Turn 15, I was sure I was going to win. It starts with my Skaven receiving the kickoff, only to have the ball easily taken away by blitzers after many mistakes and shitty block dice on my part. In fact, my first failed roll was a wild animal roll on my rat ogre who was blitzing to open up the right sideline for my gutter runners. I chose the reroll, knocked a rotter down, then promptly fucked my next 2d block in the ass with double skulls. That would happen again the second turn, only instead of burning the reroll on Wild Animal, I saved it for the fucked up blocking dice. My gutter runner gets blitzed, the ball is recovered and turn 5, it's 1-0, Bleating. I'm already one guy injured and another ko'ed for the 2nd drive, but I had gotten one of his guy's injured as well. Second kickoff things got better, though I still managed to get my gutter runner in a bind. Deep in the Bleating half, covered in Beast of Nurgle tentacles, a lone gutter runner dodges the flapping appendages, picks up the ball and scores on the turn before the half, 1-1. Skaven bullshit rears its ugly head. The half couldn't have come soon enough, as I had 2 injured, 4 KO'ed and was feeling pretty weak.
The second half kickoff went to Bleating deep, and his solid center of the beast of nurgle and stout nurglings pushed up the center, but I got blitzes around midfield that jarred the ball loose. My gutter runner found himself pinned against the sidelines by two defenders, and the closest player to provide assistance was a stormvermin on his backside. A lucky 1d block later and the Stormvermin had injured a rotter and marked another, before pushing one of the pestigors marking my gutter runner away. Only 4 dodge rolls between the gutter runner and freedom and he made every one, rumbling into the endzone for the 2-1 lead with only 3 turns to go.
Against a nurgle team, how could I NOT win? He would have to pass in order to score. I wouldn't bet on pestigors making the pass. Turn 14 I have to run downstairs for a few moments and when I return, my goddamn Rat Ogre stands marked by three guys but somehow holding the ball! He had intercepted the long pass. Of course, his next move was to go all wild animal, staring at the ball in his hand in wonderment. Before long, the markers on the ogre knocked him to the ground and the ball popped up. With two gutter runners surrounding the ball, I had no worries. A few blocks allowed a pestigor to pick up the ball but with gutter runners only a dodge or two away from a blitz, I wasn't worried. Just in case, I decided to move a linerat into position to provide an overlap, which would require a dodge.
MOTHERFUCKER FAILED IT. Turnover, and the pestigor was one GFI roll away from a touchdown. The crowd inhaled and held its breath... curses were exchanged...
And the motherfucker scored. 2-2. Dreams of the playoffs slipping away.
BUT WAIT... turn 16! One Skaven turn left to score with some patented Skaven bullshit! I begged Nuffle for a riot but instead I got a quick snap AND a motherfucking touchback. One gutter runner catches the ball a step inside the opposition half, 1 squares worth of movement too far away from the endzone to score. I moved him to the goal line just in case of a miracle... and that motherfucking ref blew the whistle.
Crazy game, crazy draw. Will this end the playoff dreams of both the nurglings and the rats? TUNE IN NEXT WEEK TO FIND OUT!

Dead rotter even got my MVP, hooray. Short version of the match: I had very nice block dice early, rats don't mind tentacles or disturbing presence much! This was a match I couldn't afford to lose, thought I was going to win, and was relieved to tie.

The battle of the unliving is over; And it's a 2-0 win to the Alive Not Dead!

Edit: mobile posting mangles paragraphs
Was a tough game. My team spent most of the 2nd half on their backs or in the penalty box. I should of picked up skill ups for a few more key players instead of a star player I think. Didn't help that the Master Chef was a complete wiff with the extra re-rolls gained with cheering fans. But all and all was a good game.

I am totally gonna watch that replay. That said, yeah, another draw complicates things a lot playoff wise. But it's good for the amazons, it feels like you both lost points. It makes this day's game between you and Megrim HUGE. If he wins, the two of you are drawn back into the quagmire with me and avaia and gives all 4 of us the possibility to finish 3rd or 4th - my last two games being against you and Megrim would mean if I win out, one of you isn't making the playoffs. If you win, myself, Megrim and avaia have to win out AND you lose both games or draw one and lose one to have a prayer of 3rd. In other words, if you don't beat Megrim, your season gets a lot more complicated. If you win, you're most likely a lock for 3rd and the playoffs and Megrim is back down in the quagmire with the two of us. If you draw, you'll probably practically cinch 3rd as well. Either way, I have to win out or go home. Any losses or draws probably puts me out of the running. Of course my MVP got taken by a goddamn merc. But I think my Rat Ogre leveled and I got enough money to get either a thrower, a linerat or a stormvermin to replace some of my losses.

Yeah it was a highly entertaining game, which could have ended in a draw. I did a couple of fatal mistakes, especially on your second TD, and wasted the fireball. All in all I think luck swung both ways; for me with fouling and blocking, and Ice had insane Scatter-Ball luck, while the Pro Elves hitting like Dwarves and fouling like... 'flings (I guess). The real star of the match was Karl Marx, getting two casualties and two KO's on an unskilled lineman (but a great thinker, mind you). Well played, and quite a fun match to boot! I'll mourn the loss of Thomas Aquinas in due time. I think my Playoff chances were lost with the loss, although it would be outrageous if I had gotten that far with my pro-trimmed Team Value. Alan Greenspan picked up the MvP, despite injuring himself. Finally got a level-up or two though!

Woot on the skillups. Junior, my level 3 Rat Ogre, becomes a blocking/guarding Rat Ogre. I had a chance to take +1 AGI on my +1 STR gutter runner but decided against it, giving him strip ball instead. Kind of an experiment. AGI 5 would have been nice, but I figure he's probably ok with AGI 4. Then I decided to ignore my gut feeling and follow lamaros's advice and buy a new thrower. Say hello to Blind Willie!
