A first person Heavy Rain Shooter is what I want, definitely for the FPS genre. And lots of personal attachments to the characters would be nice. Remember Command and Conquer 4? Commander, your wife just died, it's time to give a fuck.

The last Rainbow 6 I played was the first one. I loved it to death! Glad I stopped right there so I can keep the fond memories.

Not really. The Vegas versions, outside of the silly SP story, deviated far enough from GoW/Halo/CoD to be fun. Now they're letting all of that future war crap from Ghost Recon leak into the Rainbow series.

The two games that followed it and their expansion packs were all solid.
Basically everything till Vegas threw the franchise down the shitter.
