Yes, of course, I am theorycrafting teams for Dominion. I like mobility here.

Jax
Poppy
Kassadin
Malph
TF ? Ez ? Xin?

Premise...Bushwacks, distance closers, bursters. Malph charges in, poppy slams some fuck, kass does what he do, Jax leaps in, etc

I think the no farm is going to get a lot of people doing heavy DPS. Wardens/Thornmail could be huge.

Armor reduction team here?

Tanky DPS team?

I think Riven or Irelia are both people you would want on your team since they are really good at chasing with all their dashes.

Global ults. GP and Karth seems like really strong picks: GP's got a movement buff, Karthus can continuing defending a point after he's dead.

True. Not sure long cooldown abilities are that great though, the game is so fast paced.

From my games earlier, I'd agree with global ults, tanky dps and movement. GP seems to work pretty damn well as he hits all 3. Karthus seems ok, as you mention the CDs are a problem. I had a game with TF earlier and he seemed ok. I scored the lowest on my team, but your poke is actually good for holding enemies off.

Warwick might be an ok pick. I think poppy might end up being a star (I might be biased though) as a tanky dps who mainly deals magic damage. Makes her harder to counter.

If we're talking ripping around a map it's all about Blitz.   He could be really good for defending.

I can imagine Singed being amazing at Dominion.

Speedy Tanky DPS

I feel like I'm missing one or two, but they aren't coming right now

Physical
Blitz
Gangplank
Nocturne (boots 3, triforce and his ult put him in this category)

Magic
Rumble
Kennen

Hybrid
Udyr
Mundo

Tank
Rammus
Singed (as mentioned below) - not sure how effective Singed is going to be.  Sure, he can get there fast, and once he's there he can fling someone.  But if no one is chasing due to trying to flip a node, who really cares about Singed running around?

Singed will burn people down quick with his smoke if people try to ignore him. Plus he'll be great for disrupting enemy creep waves.

Yi is only fastest with Highlander. MF is fairly fast.

Eve's ult might end up not bad.   She could really spam it due to the amount of fights that happen.

The fastest possible champion in the game is Rammus, who can reach speeds in excess of 5,000 with Powerball and the right buffs. I believe Yi has the fastest base speed with 330. Nidalee, Kassadin, Kennen can truck it from point A to point B pretty quickly. MF with her passive, maybe. If I were trying to win a foot race I would probably choose one of those.

Poppy is also very fast but I think YI is the fastest with highlander active.

Apparently Shaco is really, really, really good in Dominion.  Which makes sense.

No elixirs or wards really fucks you with stealthers.

There is an item that gives you a useable de-stealth ability, some sort of cloud. I haven't wrapped my head around the new itemisation. There's another item which gives you +15% cap speed.

Items like RoA seem less great here, since you may not have time to get them stacked.

No Rammus is by far the fastest with his ball.   It's not even a close contest.   It gives base movement speed so its really really fast.

Jax is really dominating so far for me.  Moving around fast doesn't feel as important as just slaughtering peeps at towers.   I'm grabbing Ninja Tabi, life steal, pots right away then moving into Hex Blade.

COOLDOWN REDUCTION ITEMS

I can't bold that enough. In a game like dominion where everything is fast paced, a low cooldown char can really suffer.

Surprisingly I haven't seen Yis doing that well. I think it's because they can't get farmed and reach 1v1 domination level.

I didn't even bother with RoA in my game with Morgana. Bought the new "Charge up and do AoE dmg" clicky item that has the same passives as RoA, magic pen boots, Zhonya's, and was working on my deathcap when it ended.

I actually forego the utility talent tree on dominion where exp boosts mean very little. Items with morg look like boots talisman of cd redux and then deathcap

Ok, so we learned one thing about Dominion tonight. (in two parts)

A) Thinking Slay's AS Cho'Gath would be a good champ for the mode is incorrect.
B) Even when said Cho and Xin Zhao (your truly) play abyssmally you can win.

Both are 100% true.

Yea, I can attest, Jax is a murder machine in this mode. Grab stormshield from mid for added lulz.

My Udyr here is pretty fierce though :) Tiger style....

I grab boots of mobility for full retard speed getting to points, brutalizer, tri-force, sanguine, etc

Think I will probably go swiftness next time.

Ohhh I got a new idea..... AP/AD hybrid Udyr! Guinsoo, Hextech Gunblade, tri-force

Forget turtle stance, I'm maxing Tiger AND Phoenix.... RAWRRRRRRRRRRRRR

(can't be any worse than my AS Cho!!!!)
