Quote
The Sinai regional governor last month suggested that a shark that killed and maimed tourists on its Red Sea port may have been intentionally released by Israeli agents in order to sabotage the country's tourist industry.

'What is being said about the Mossad throwing the deadly shark in the sea to hit tourism in Egypt is not out of the question. But it needs time to confirm,' Mohamed Abdel Fadil Shousha said, according to the Sun.

What's with retarded UK news agencies picking up hoaxes from the Middle East all of a sudden?

It's the Daily Mail. It's a honest to God shock when they don't post something that's either a questionable (and alarmist) interpretation of some event or study or an outright hoax.

Is the Guardian normally like this?  They were the first I saw to pick up the shark bullshit.

I'm not even sure how the fuck you purportedly manage to follow and capture a vulture.  We have a bunch where I live, they're not a bird you want to fuck with.

The shark thing really happened...

Would you believe Routers? They are quoting an Egyptian newspaper, that, I'm pretty sure, are controlled by the government.

The Guardian has slashed it's staff recently and is no longer really capable of proper journalism. Print newspapers are just a dying media. The Times Online paywall experiment has apparently been considerably less of a success than they hoped, which bodes ill for the future of the rest of them.

But yeah... Daily Mail isn't really a news outlet, it's a comedy publication.

The Sun is a comedy publication and isn't taken seriously by anyone - the Daily Mail is considered a reputable broadsheet by a certain section of Middle Class UK.

That frightens me.

Wait... what?

The shark attacks really happened. Are you really suggesting that Mossad released the shark into Egyptian waters because that's what Sheepherder really quoted.

I think he's suggesting that the Egyptian minister really said that rather than the minister being right.
