I'm totally not making this up.

Ever noticed that the best stories in the world almost always start with "Here, hold my beer."

Was meant for Serious Business. Oops.

Is that site an Onion wannabe? Nothing about this makes any sense - there is absolutely no way this story is real.

It links to the Macedonian News Agency which seems to be real.

Apparently it is a fake story - from the Serbian equivalent of the Onion: http://www.belgraded.com/blog/off-the-record/drunk-serb-jumps-the-shark

I mean, come on - landing on a shark and killing it? That's about as plausible as Rockstar announcing a new version of GTA based on the Raoul Moat shootings. No genuine newspaper would believe it was real, surely.

Sounds like a fine Mythbusters episode.

My father in law shares this guys name, and in his expert opinion as a Serbian, this story is likely true, as drunken serbs will do incredibly stupid shit.

That was the most realistic part of the story.
