I am in Vail, Colorado. I feel they could arrest me here just because I'm too tall. Or have too much beard. It's scary, feels like the ultimate fortress of white capitalism.

RPS interview was great. I really don't think Peter Molyneux understands why people are taking issue with him which I don't find that surprising. That interview conveys the impression of a psychologically broken man.

It is amazing how he keeps jabbering at the interviewer with all this irrelevant information in what looks like an attempt to generate pity or communicate to his detractors to ease up: "We're really, really trying, and that's what is most important!"

I believe he's trying to wiggle himself out of a bad situation in a bid for self-preservation. I got that assessment from the way he talks about putting his own money into the business. Now I'm going to look how his company is structured! Limited Liability?

Yay for trailers being fifty times better than games. Not sure how I feel about the fact it felt like Fast & Furious: Cuba from HBO.

My primary concern with JC3 is that it's a latter-day Square Enix game, which means it'll be a competent base game with a laundry list of DLC, which will lock away a lot of the fun toys to use, and a billion different preorder editions.

Moviebob wasn't fired in the last group of layoffs from The Escapist, but he was today! That leaves like uh... Yahtzee I guess.

Not a lot of chatter about Dying Light.  Is it a play yes or no?  Worth at full price?

Been playing Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, which recent!y launched "officially". Was mentioned in this thread about a year ago (Schild hated it). It's kind of a cross between Diablo and Dungeon Keeper, you run through other people's castles in order to get the resources to equip your character and set up your own castle.

Castles that are harder give better loot, those that are particularly good at getting players killed are the only ones that produce "epic" grade items. Most people speed-run as many castles as possible, I prefer to shoot for castles several levels above me and steadily pick them apart. Castles with intricate trap setups that force you to rush into very tough monster groups are great for me, as they give great loot (they kill a lot of speedrunners) and my play style is ideal for them.

It's a fun little distraction that's kept me occupied for a couple of weeks, I haven't really tried very hard on the building side, my boss room is pretty easy but I have a tucked-away mine on a side passage that has killed a lot of players. They power through the main room only to find they have to track down the final mine, rush into a springboard/acid trap combo and then get swarmed.

I don't think I'll keep playing for too much longer, but playing with the crafting system to optimize my equipment is also kind of interesting (I'm in Epic gear, and currently trying to maximize my magical bonuses with reforging).

Yahtzee was the only one there who was actually entertaining, so that's appropriate.

I played it for PS4 and hated it. Several others here had it for PC and liked it.

They can't fire Yahtzee. If he does what Sterling did, they'd lose about half of their traffic.

This. I've tried to watch some of their other fare and it's just not that good.

I think the maker of that Humble Weekly Bundle is rk47.

A Hate Story and Hate Plus alone are worth the bundle. As long as you are like me. So you are probably gonna hate them.

I got it for free and couldn't compel myself to finish the intro. It's a really terrible intro. That's not giving the game a fair shake though, so eventually I'll sit down with it. Probably next week.

Games don't have good intros, so I wasn't bothered by that.  Parkour tutorial was tolerable enough that it didn't stop me from getting past.  Story is fluff to me but this one works well in my opinion.  One thing that I do really like is the nighttime lighting effects.  Also it does manage to be actually creepy for me.  Most fun I've had hiding in a pawn shop until dawn.

Are those all open positions? Because if so, that's pretty ACK! for the future of the series.

I think they employ more than one producer. Also external postings are something they do even if they plan to hire internally. Finally they often have someone fill in to cover gaps in critical positions; the first year I was there, we had no permanent QA Manager (2004).

I think they undervalued a few of the early years.
