I'd like to think most of us have higher standards about just about everything than normal gamers.  That said, she's not nearly as horrible looking as you describe and if I didn't know anything about a boyfriend, was single and the mood struck, she doesn't have sharp knees. She certainly isn't worth all the hullabaloo by any stretch of the imagination but then again... drama is anathema to me. The hottest of the hot supermodels is not worth even a fraction of the drama involved in this situation. |

Path of Exile was hit on Saturday evening and a number of high ranked people on the new hardcore league ripped. I logged out after the second time the server totally went down, it was basically unplayable. Not sure how long it lasted though.
Hopefully they all get caught.

Seems like a good thread for random game news from PAX.
Just saw Volition's panel. They are putting out another game recycling the Saints Row 4 engine: Gat out of Hell.
You play Gat or Kinzie and head to hell to save the President from having to marry Satan's daughter. The general theme is a parody of classic Disney movies.
Also announced they are porting SR4 to XBone and PS4.
Good news front: SR4 + all DLC will be $29, the new game will be $19 and doesn't require SR4.

Yeah, I clicked through until it got in the '80's and saw that Rome: Total War II was on there. That game still isn't unfucked after what... 12 patches? I don't care what they put at #1, that alone tells me it was made by clueless fuckwits.

Edit: Forcing myself to keep going for the comedy. Battlefield 4 made it in at 50.

Rainbow Six? Never heard of them, obviously must be pretty shit. StarCraft? What's that? I don't know what this "Master of Magic" is, but I bet it can't hold a candle to Return to fucking Castle Wolfenstein. And man, when I think of GREAT games, I think of the PC port of Dark Souls! Definintely deserves to be in the top TEN GREATEST PC GAMES OF ALL TIME. P.S. X-Com 1994 at 84th place. XCOM 2012 at 6th place. Is ‘immersive sim’ the right way to describe a game where a man says “I’ll drive, you shoot” while pointing at a child’s tricycle? What? No?
