I haven't really played much in the last 3 weeks or so.  When push comes to shove, I just haven't felt the urge to load it up over other things lately.  I'll probably have some spark of creativity at some point that makes me long in obsessively for a week until the project is finished, then I'll pause again for a while

I am playing off and on, my projects just aren't very notable on the map, I guess.  I recently added a lava lighting system to the West Highway tunnel near to my mine.

I also tried Cataclysm and it hasn't smashed anything except my sense of taste.  But I'm only lv 3 or so.

I suspect we'll be back before long too ... but it's hard to resist a server running hey0 where you're an admin, playing with your regular LAN party crew.

My friend's a network admin with a spare linux box, a good pipe, and some time on his hands. It's a win.

There's probably some hack that can do it but in the vanilla code the on/off toggle is for all monsters.

I disagree. While cool, I find the mobless game play boring after a bit. I highly enjoy the RPG light that comes with the mobs. It also makes resources and gear matter, as well as changes how you design things.

Even in spite of having mobs, we have gone on to build impressive things. We have mostly secured the start area and direct starting areas, now expeditions outward not only have the fun of exploration, but the fun of the danger of doing so.
