I always though Arcanum's main theme was rather charming and enchanting. Perhaps one of the best pieces of game music I have heard. There are properly other parts of Arcanum's music which should be mentioned. So sad this game never did grow to its potential.

I Cannot believe that I forgot about the Arcanum soundtrack.  I never beat the game due to bugginess and incompleteness, but I recall being captivated by the music.  One recurring theme amongst the tracks that I listed is that I would cease playing the game to listen to the music.  That hollywood track in Vampire - Bloodlines is one of the best examples of that... I have a hard time forcing myself to enter a new scene when I'm on the streets and that music is playing.

But the Arcanum soundtrack must be one of the best of all time.  It's not just the main theme, it's the whole damn game.  And honestly, I remember the soundtrack far more than I do anything else about it.  It almost reminds me of Conan The Barbarian, in that it's a flawed creation but carried to epic status by an insanely good score.

A Place To Call Home, ME1 OST and VTM:Bloodlines OST have already been listed, nice.

I've always loved the DAoC combat music:

And the title music just for old times sake:

(Yes, I'm breaking the rules, wah.)

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Damn, you beat me to it! Arcanum's tunes are hands down my favorite examples of video game music.

You are quite right, the music score really was one of the cornerstones of that game, and which made me play through it all despite the constant crashes and bugs. ahh I have so fond memories of toasting bloody wizards with my flamethrower or tesla gun, while wearing mechanical armor... It makes me almost want to install the game again.

Arcanum is definitely one of those ones that is better remembered than replayed. Don't do it, you will just end up quitting as soon as you hit one of the stupidly long and drab sewer or mine sections.

Nordom: Sense of closure: imminent.

Arcanum was so ugly and broken. I don't even remember the music.

Yah. I find Arcanum totally overrated both musically and gameplay wise.

Daggerfall on the other hand is fantastic music with unique dungeon crawling experience.

Fuck those rules.  You're ignoring one of the greatest soundtracks ever.

Bastard.  Much nostalgia there.

Also, I agree with the Morrowind;  that track haunts me for some reason.
