If you have a wired 360 controller and a pulse, you must buy this. Srsly, Dirt 2 alone is worth the price. It's so beautiful I'm getting an erection.

Thinking about just Dirt 2, but are the others worth getting the entire collection? And the price is low enough to off set the need to upgrade the wheel. What's the top of the price/performance curve for force feedback wheels these days? It doesn't look like my old Formula Force GP will cut it in Win7.

Keep in mind that DIRT 1 doesn't work on Win7. Doesn't cost much in the bundle (effectively free, if you buy the bundle) but just be aware.

I thought about this, but I'm much more of a console-racer myself.

I have happily played Dirt2 with mouse and keyboard. It is an awesome game. I don't know about the rest. Reading the steam forums on some of the other titles left me feeling pretty ambivalent.

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

Grid is the asphalt version of Dirt (ie. kind of like Gran Turismo for adhd sufferers, in a good way). The race ai in Grid is awesome, much much better than in many so called sims. Fuel is a weird one, a post-apocalyptic sandbox racer. It's a bit clunky, but if you like exploring and eye candy you can sink a dozen hours into it.

None of these games are really good with wheels IMO, they're made for the gamepad.

Good to know, I've got a gamepad on the PC already. I've also had Grid for Xbox for a while from gamefly and I like it, great game to jump in here and there to get a quick racing fix. Thanks for feedback.

Lollerskates, Steam ran out of FUEL product keys. Nobody can play until sometime next week or whenever they get more from Codemasters.

I clicked the Buy button about five seconds after reading that.

I bought Dirt2 before I read this thread  0.0 DPS

For $7 would've been worth it for grid and fuel, dammit.

Fuck.

edit: DiRT2 = pretty and fun. After trashing the shit out of my car a couple times, playing directly after a round of GTA IV, it's nice to have a bit more finesse involved. And they call me Mo.

They've got FUEL keys now, so you can play it again.

But they don't have the sale anymore. Damnit, shouldn't have waited to buy it until I can instantly play.
