Kind of, thanks. It does seem to confirm what seems to have happened was a scam based on the examples given if he gave my mom a password to enter. I'm guessing that's the case. |

Anyways, has anyone definitely heard of kenoxis? I'm wondering if I my mom's laptop is fucked and I should just do a format/reinstall this weekend or just trust in avast/ad-aware. Appears to be a standard IT / customer support firm in India. There's no fucking chance that the intended result of the call was legit though. |
