I went pretty light.  Picked up X3:TC and Majesty 2.  Not sure I'll like X3, but w/e.  I've blown $10 on worse.

I did, however, enjoy the Majesty 2 demo and gladly put $15 towards that.

My list:
Dead Space
STALKER
Borderlands DLC x2 (1 gift)
Torchlight x3 (all gifts)
Jade Empire
Deus Ex GOTY
Civ4 pack (gift)
Zombie Driver
Max Payne 1 & 2

Thats probably almost as many video games as I bought in the last 3 years put together.  Did they have a sale like this last year because I totally missed it.

They did, but only for a few days after Christmas, and not with the daily crazy sales.

I used to have a mental slice of my budget called "Mass Effect 2".  It's sort of not there anymore... and I don't really mind.  (In some part because my PC playthrough of the first game is so far down the list now that I don't think I'll have finished it by the end of the month.)

I picked up

LucasArts Pack (bad choice imo, should've just waited for monkey island and JK series to go on sale separately)
STALKER
Torchlight
King Arthur
Jade Empire

I was going to buy Trine when it was on sale, but the steam checkout interface decided to crap out on me and it wouldn't accept my CC (even though I used it 2 days ago without problems, and other games/services didn't have a problem with it). Oh well.

They are. I'm not sure why, though since they were never controversial or banned or censoed or anything. The other GTAs (3, VC, SA) are also missing for us.

Hey, still 30 minutes left until the sale is over!

I'll compile my obscene list when I get home tonight.

Yeah, and thanks to my inability to remember my login info off the top of my head, I didn't make my last minute impulse purchases. This is likely a good thing.

Sigh, I'm still torn between Borderlands and Batman for my last purchase.

(Of course they sort of are... borderlands at 80$ US still irks me greatly)

I thought I had a pretty stocked list of stuff to wade through...then I bought the eidos pack. Can't wait to open my games tab now and see the dead sea scrolls of gaming.

Really glad I got the Burnout title, it's wicked fun. As I mentioned before, perfect balance for FFH2.

I got the Eidos Pack plus about 15 more, so that's a big list.

It's to the point where I need Steam to have two lists of uninstalled games.  One for games I'll probably never install again (old Steam pack stuff) and one for games I haven't installed yet, but plan to.

I agree completely.  Just being able to arbitrarily create folders in the games list would be pretty handy.

If you just need a "Get to Later List", you can put those games as Favorites (Right-Click on Game -> Add to my favorites) and just collapse the header when you aren't looking for something new to play.

For proper folders though, you're SOL at this point.

While I didn't see all the daily deals (vacation, internet access was a crapshoot), I found I'd already bought everything I found interesting in the sales. I only nabbed Vanguard for $5. I've been curious about it for the last year, and the price point was hard to argue.
