We've got so many girls in their early 20's coming into the shop who bring up Twilight.  I was even asked whether I liked it.  I replied with something like, "Isn't that the Tigerbeat of vampire movies?  Nah, I need a little bit more Nosferatu from my vampires".  Her reply was, "What's that!?!"   Facepalm

Tell the next stupid cow who asks you that it's a book about a pedophile. Since she's underage and he's some centuries old pervert. And then stress, at the risk of losing your job, that they're fingering themselves over a pedophile.

Well their PR machine is on a roll thanks to morbid curiosity.

I kind of feel sorry for their lead designer though.

Yes you will even if you succeed at completing this project.

OP is assuming its somewhat of a design-goal of eve to make players happy.
this is however not the case.

There is absolutely no reason whatsoever to have a discussion about this thing. Not even to make fun of it.

This statement is an insult to internet trolls.  I demand you retract it.

Sorry I can't. Twilight fans will track me down and physically assault me if I do that.

You call it an accident. I call it justice.

I believe that all I really want to know is:

1. Is there PvP?

2. Assuming #1 is true, are werewolves and vampires balanced?

Disclaimer: why so serious?

I can be bothered to look into this, but sounds like a joke to me.

They have a FAQ page up. It says, between few other things:

Quote
Q: Are we developing an MMO?

A: The information being reported that we are developing an MMO is incorrect.

edit: and fuck all-Flash pages. srsly.
