Okay, I think baby polar bear may have just won the thread.  Or at least the last several pages of it.

I am sorry for the lack of updates - incoming!

At 9 weeks, Oscar came home with us (via the mother-in-law's).

Now, at 3 months and 1 week old, Oscar weighs about 38 pounds heheh.

SQUEEEE!!  SO CUUUUTE!!

Oh man, that 12 weeks old pic is just adorable.

And actually, if you teach your dog properly to only use one area of the yard, it's not too horrible if you keep up with it.  The worst part about picking up my my Golden is the early spring when the snow's finally all gone.  Othrewise, doing it weekly isn't bad.

At the moment, we're picking up after him every time he goes, as we're still house training (he's basically done, but we're still taking him to the spot for reinforcement). Let's just say the wife has taken to calling him 'The Poopinator'. I swear he poops more than he eats.

He does have the most soulful eyes when he wants something though - that week 12 look is what he does whenever he wants attention :P How can you say no?

On the downside, despite our best efforts to socialise him, Oscar's terrified of other dogs (and squirrels/cats/rabbits/chipmunks). He's in one set of puppy classes already, and I'll be enrolling him in a second parallel set for the extra exposure, as well as plentiful visits to the dog park now that he's had his shots.

He adores the snow, and had fun at his first visit to the beach :)

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

Actually, it looks like the tabby whacked the dog (look at the blurred paw in the third frame), then he and the dog went at it over and behind the fat cat, then the tabby decided to give it up for a bad job and wormed his way out, leaving the fat boy to take the rap and deal with the pissed off dog.

Well in that pic, it's the hat. But without the hat... I'd say the carnage those birds of prey bring to small "cute" mammals prolly puts a damper on their appeal.
