Oh, my, god. This thread has been updated with so much eee.

These are just a few miles down the road from me, but I dasn't go see them, as the only two possible results are 'Six-foot-two grown man embarrasses even grade-school girls with his high-pitched squealing' or 'Crazed individual breaks glass, steals cacomistles from exhibit'.

As mentioned in useless conversation, new Corgi puppy on the way (too young to separate from momma yet)

Horrible blurry photos do not do justice at all, good ones will have to wait until we can bring her home.

In related news, a black longhair stray cat has been hanging around the property, and at least one of our cats is in heat...kitties in a few months!

This your first corgi or have you had them before? Also that looks like a Cardigan rather than a Pembroke although hard to tell at that age. Yes/no?

Never had a Corgi before.  Our previous dog was an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie cross, and our "inherited" dog is a black lab/?? mutt.  It's got the typical lab spazziness, I worry about the bad habits it'll teach the puppy.

I'm not actually sure which one it is.  Its sibling was born naturally without a tail, which I think suggests a Pembroke?  This one has a tail, but we asked for it not to be docked.

This one was a trade; a local breeder was looking for a horse so last fall we traded the evil bite-y young mare for a future pup--which is a good deal on our part, a papered dog is worth more than the equine.  The horse actually behaves well for them as it did for most other people, it just learned it can get away with being a shit around us.

Ya, if there is a natural bob its usually a Pembroke.  I only have one to compare it to (my 8 month old Pembroke) but they are funny, strange little dogs. Big personalities.  It's been windy/stormy here lately and this is how she showed up to the back door today.

She was totally chill about it.  Just walked in and around the house nonchalantly for a bit as we laughed at her. Like i said they (or set least she) are quirky little buggers.
