I'm pretty sure that was the whole point, given the fact that pretty much all of us could do it the other way around.
You might be surprised at how difficult even the other way around it. I swear I saw three cuts in that sequence.

2 cuts. Your eyes might be tricking you into thinking that when she pulls back for the 2nd cut that she's swinging again, but not so - the sword is only sharp on one side, if there was a cut going that direction she'd have to pull back to her right before that swing.

When she crossed over, she was just a ship. But when she came back... she was bullshit!

It's much harder than it looks, the blade has to be perfectly aligned with the swing and the hands have to keep it that way even when it meets resistance. Doing it so perfectly that the cut off top doesn't fall all the way off, and getting the second swing? Master-level any way you slice it.
I learned to do it with a saber style blade, which is so much easier than a katana it's almost cheating. And that was damned hard.

I feel terrible for laughing. It's cute enough I'd give all something. Is that Bangkok? It looks like one of their elevated rail stations.

There are a lot of people who do those frog w/props, frog with insects riding on them, shots on Flickr and other sites I look at. I'm beginning to be pretty sure that at least some of them are working with recently dead insects/recently dead frogs or they're actually gluing the frogs into certain postures. There's a similar guy on 500px who periodically provokes complaints who is clearly taking baby birds out of their nests and putting them in unlikely/unfamiliar places--he's definitely not shopping them.

I wish my cats would have done that in the water... instead of waking the dead with their shrieking and howling.

I've had several Siamese that liked water. I always thought it was a breed thing.

There is definitely a breed thing going on and some cats really like the water. A friend of a friend has a Savannah which adores the water and will take every opportunity to jump into their whirlpool tub. Damn rich people...

My Magenta does that, too, but mostly on my sister's tummy. Lister, however, does that to air which looks very weird.

Is that the jugular? No? What about there? How about there? What if I try that spot? That not it either?

Its probably not too picky. I'm sure it'd settle for the carotid if it found it first.

God, you are killing me with that. Too funny. That kneading motion is even cuter when you remember the cat as kitten doing it when suckling from the mother cat's teets. When my cat did it to me I always thought "Awww, Petzi is having flashbacks again!"

World, meet Alada Otaria flavescens, daughter of Kelo of the family Otariidae, born 6th July 2013: Alada is dead. Her condition deteriorated (her mother stopped feeding her, so she was nursed) after a few weeks of normal development and gaining weight and she was put to sleep. The obduction showed an inherent, non-treatable heart fault.
