He was referring to the consistency problem, which has been solved already by using the boring ol' traditional FFL roster format.

I think the current iteration of the league shows that except for one or two players it makes more sense to play a 3rd string WR than any TE so why bother putting that in as an option?

Really, most of our issues this year would be solved by keeping the league size down to a small army rather than the current horde.

12 is about all you can really take in a league before it just gets retarded. Then again, it always fills up in a day when we do it in July and people complain.

Also, I agree with a forced TE spot. Without that aspect it makes having the top receivers the winning factor in the game instead of some decent balance.

So 3 weeks in a row I should have started Alex Smith instead of Payton Manning.  ACK!

All I need is for the Ravens D to lay an egg tonight, and we're playoff bound!  Because I couldn't possibly lose to the worst team in the league with everything at stake steak, right?

I don't think the Ravens will win tonight, but I'd lay good money that they will score at least 2 points to beat the Roosters. Sorry.

How the fuck did my team ever win 4 games in this league?

Looking at the numbers again that #8 spot in the playoffs looks like it's going to be bloody by the time the dust settles tonight.  If Ray Rice lays an egg tonight I'm still going to be sitting 7&6 with ~1010 points which should put me ahead of the Roosters, Bloodsuckers and depending on how Green Bay's defense performs, Unsponsored.

Ya, fuck Denver so being unreliable, they put up 19 points.

Ah well.  Here's to hoping GB defense scores eleventy touchdowns.

The SF defense put up 45 points for me one week.  It's not impossible.

Crosby is going to kick nine 52 yard fieldgoals tonight. You just watch.

Don't beat yourself up too much.  If total points is the playoff tiebreaker, I think I am going to slither my way to the last spot despite your betrayal.  Barring Ab's Crosbstravaganza tonigh.

Ugh. Frustrating season. I drop the last four straight to totals over 100 when I have decent days (1 in the 70s and 3 in the 80s). In my must-win week I have the third highest total in the league, and lose.

Good luck in the playoffs to those who made it.

Roosters, I didn't total shitcan you - I just made sure you had to play the #1 seed for the playoffs. ENJOY!

Let's please enshrine this thread so that we can remember next year: if the tight end is going to be allowed at all, you need to require a tight end slot. Having 4 potential WR slots thins out the talent way too much. Also, don't autodraft.

Ended up 6th in points and 10th in standings.  That's quite a spread.

Haemish edged me out for dead last...by a point.

Fuck us all in the ear if we ever try this rostering setup again. The point swings every week were legendary.

I feel less bad about squeaking into the playoffs with a 7&6 record now that I noticed that the best in the league is only 8&5 and barely 100 points more.

Actually - playing the #1 seed will probably work in his favour as my team is NOT very good and I still am not sure how I even ended up in first place.

Same crack I was smoking when I started Benson against the Charger Defense.

Edit: I think you're going to be fine.  The Giants secondary is suffering from the injury bug.  If Campbell gets off to a good start, it could be a big night for him.

You and me, Nebu. Good luck. While Yahoo's prediction forecasts a victory for you, your team's dependency on only 2 games makes the outcome very hard to predict. Neither KC nor Jacksonville have any playoff hope left, but New England and Cinci do so at least you are on the right side of those contests.

From a match-up point of view, I am in good standing and I like that Moss hedges Brady's potential success somewhat.

Good luck! Winner gets...nothing. Maybe a title.

Good luck to you as well.  I think that you really have the edge here for the reasons mentioned.  I don't like that I'm so dependent on two matchups and may shuffle things later in the week depending.  To be honest, I really thought I was going to lose two games ago and I got REALLY lucky that I didn't lose this week.  I guess that's the way it goes in head-to-head.
