This is fucking ridiculous. I'm only starting two guys that I drafted. The rest are total busts.

Wide receiver in this league is a fucking joke. I think not having to have a tight end is what is restricting the availability of wideouts that don't suck. And man do my wideouts suck monkey ass. Of course, having so many really shitty teams doesn't help. When even Owens isn't a points producer, you know the player quality is all over the road.

I appreciate the attention but.. have I ever accepted a trade in any FF league?

I have no clue about what your general trading proclivities are, if you don't want to make a trade you can just decline it.  Which would be better than just leaving it hanging for two days.

Requiring a TE would make things more interesting.  I'd like to see that next year.

We have TEs in the league I play, and with at least the ones I've had, they are remarkably more consistant than their WR counterparts.

But I always do that.  awesome, for real

My team is doing better than I thought it would this year.

And yah, we should defintely do a mandatory TE in this league.  I love the JV league roster, but it just kind of breaks down at 14 teams as opposed to 12.

Anywho,

I'm looking for a WR, anyone want to make me an offer I can't refuse?

I have no clue who any of your teams are for the most part... not that I'm flush with WR or anything.

I could have started Roy Williams or Terrel Owens, the starting wideouts on the fantasy football underachiever team, but instead I need about 4 points from Jeremy Shockey.  Guy is almost as infamous as Donte Stallworth for his 0 pt games.

Shockey's been more involved in the passing game for the Saints lately. I will be sweating it tonight.

Best record in both leagues.   awesome, for real

That being said, it's 1 v. 2 in both leagues this week.  I figure I'll split it, with the likely win coming in this league.

And Shockey seals my fate as I knew he would. My team sucks so hard and there is just fuckall at the waiver level for wideouts.

If anyone wants a crappy RB, I'll take trade offers through the deadline.

Willing to trade: Pierre Thomas, Mendenhall, Cadillac Williams, and Jamaal Charles who just became viable with the release of Larry Johnson.

Looking for WR and/or DEF

Shit, I'd trade you a defense, but I don't think anybody has WR's to spare.

I'd consider a defense, but I'm not going to give Thomas or Mendenhall away.  I'd prefer a WR for either of those two.

Make me an offer or send me a PM if you have something in mind.

If you're the bloodsuckers, that's an interesting offer.  I'm just unsure if I'd ever start Mason over Burleson (my 3rd WR).  Thomas is in my swing spot weekly, so I need someone that can fill that slot when Mendenhall has matchup issues.  That or a defense that is significantly better than SF with no BYE remaining.

Haem is offering the Ravens D, but I can't take on more players than I have.  I may need to restructure his offer.

Ya, that's me.  If Mason doesn't do it for you I have 4 other WRs that  are all pretty close that I would be willing to consider trading instead.  Only Jackson is totally off the table.

Hah.  Win with only 2 player scoring over 10 points.  The Miles Austin experiment is heading toward failure.

Derrick Mason against the Baltimore defense (matched up on the BROWNS!) for the win against the Bloodsuckers. I think I got this.

How on earth does SD score 31 and V. Jackson only score 1.7 points?

It's a weird fucking stat season for the league. Field-goal kickers are missing a lot more to my perception, some teams are just running up scores, and lots of the old Faithful stat monsters aren't this year. I don't know WTF is going on.

Well I had a chance when I made the Michael Turner trade, and I always have Drew Brees, but I'm still getting whomped every week because my receivers are either completely awesome or total no-shows. I mean last week I scored 115 points, and then 49 this week. That's playing the EXACT same roster.

The amount of motherfucking swing points in that week (66) would have won my matchup.  ACK!

Scoring would be more consistent if:

a) Thrown TD's were worth 4 instead of 6

b) You reduce the scoring of team defenses

c) You require a TE by every team and have a WR/RB swing spot.

d) Set lineups to be QB, RB, WR, WR, TE, K, DEF

WR's always have a pretty wide spread in weekly performance that evens out over the course of a season.  It's the 100 yd, 2 TD weeks followed by the 3 reception week.

Would rather see
QB
RB
WR
Flex (RB or WR or TE)
Flex (RB WR or TE)
TE
K
D

That gives people more flexibility on how to build their team. Some load up on RBs, some WRs, some try to find a happy medium.
