If you think Wall-O-Text is the same thing as content you have serious issues.

I like to read, I like to have story and background and lore to my game worlds. To me, that is part of the content, otherwise mmo mechanics are just a lame video game you can play with others. I would contend that playing in a large game world without taking time to read the text would mean you are the one with serious issues. Why not just go play L4D or something, which has infinitely better game mechanics?

Also, that Madden video is pissing me off. That could be the game that finally puts a modern gen console in my house. If I had the money ^^

If the world is so bland you need a blob of narrative exposition to clue you into the background and lore then I would say that's a problem, not a solution.

"<blah, blah, blah> rabbits <blah, blah, blah> eat my prize carrots <blah, blah, blah> 10 pelts <blah, blah, blah> gold ring and 1 sp 24 cp." Isn't engrossing story and background to anyone but the dull and unimaginative.

What gets me is my parents love the wii tennis just due to how accessable it is. Once you start explaing how you have to explain all the neuances about movement control back to wii sports they would go.
