I have to wait at least 6 years more. I can't do it until my son is at least about 20. He doesn't want to move and I really don't feel like changing his life.
In 2015 I am pretty sure I will move to Canada. What do you suggest? Toronto or Vancouver?
Move to Detroit

You are kidding, but I will be in Ann Arbor in two months. And they keep telling me how cheap is to buy a house in the Detroit area right now.

oooo - Canada!  Canadians are very sweet.  Like syrup.  I guess you should pick where ever it is that has the least number of Italians!  Also - 20?  TWENTY?  Why is it that Italians never let their boy children grow up?

Just in case anyone wanted to somehow use it in English. It drives me mad when I am abroad and people say "I want one panini". Fuck, panini is plural. Singular is panino.

Why don't you hold some referendums or even censuses to come up with a single piece of data about it?

This is English, and it's coming for your useful words.  Panini is our word, now, and there is nothing you can do.  Just ask the French.

It's one of several interesting phenomenons these days.

That was green, right?  I mean, it had to be green.

What do you mean? Should I kick him out earlier?
20 is definitely early for Italy anyway, but my decision is based on his/our personal history, not on national averages or other silly factors. And there's a chance he'll let me go earlier than that anyway.

But yes, the Italian family and society is a mess when it comes to that. People are encouraged here to NEVER become independent.

No, don't kick him out!  Don't listen to me.  I don't have or want children.  What do I know?  Nothing, that's what!  DON'T LISTEN TO ME ABOUT THIS STUFF!   ACK!

Great work Signe.  You've just caused the homeless community in Italy to increase by one.  Not to mention the estrangement between father and son.

Downtown Toronto's not too bad. There's the Rat races on Spaldina... or the fact that every single building that's not in Yorkville or a high rise looks to be four weeks from condemnation, but seeing as you're from Italy, that's probably a step up :D

No, Signe has convinced me, despite her transparent attempts to provide balance in later posts.

I did not realise it was so easy to trade kids. Ohhhhh, I see.

Way to spell out the point of the joke rendering it unfunny.

I kinda stole it from Tom Waits, Henry Rollins and the story of the necrophiliac male nurse, anyway.

It's SHA-MORGAS-BOARD!  The little old Jewish lady I lived next to for a year used to go to an all you can eat one every Thursday night with her Bridge club.   When ever she saw me, she would shout as loud as possible (even though I would be standing right next to her), "HEY HONEY.  DO YOU WANT TO COME TO SHA-MORGAS-BOARD WITH US ON THURSDAY?"  Unfortunately, Thursday was the start of my night time work week.  I would have loved to have gone to SHA-MORGAS-BOARD with her and her old lady friends.

crib-house:
Or: crib , a brothel , from the standard meaning of crib , a place where one lies down to sleep. See brothel for synonyms.
And no, it's a quote.
