A German frozen food company hopes to raise sales with a new product: Obama fingers. The tender, fried chicken bits come with a tasty curry sauce. The company says it was unaware of the possible racist overtones of the product.

Btw, the fried chicken stereotype is not exactly common knowledge in Germany. "Racial stereotypes you want to avoid" is not a topic typically taught in our schools either.

The explanation is a tad nws. <-- Completely not worksafe, it's ED.

In short, same reason why watermelons also are a racial stereotype.

I can't precise why, but I just find that image hilarious.
