*SIGH*

Now I so want to be there  DRILLING AND WOMANLINESS

What if I ship myself to Austin using that Hong Kong postal service? I could be there in three days for just 4$!

It's a deal! And I'll smuggle those cancerful Greek cigarettes for you in the same cumbersome package. Cheapest death/care package ever.

You guys are so cute!

I scanned the little one page sheet that comes with the game in English, I figured some of you might be interested. Schild is turning it into a more digestible format later.

What about me? :(
There's a high probability of me visiting you within a decade (well, nine and a three quarters years now) of your having moved to Austin as well.  I was trying to encourage Falc though.

Also I was assuming an Austin f13 get-together happened before too long, so it was a given.

Hahahaha!  I'm really good at this!

Just played for a little bit, will play more later. Made it through the tutorial, into the Nexus, and made it through some of the castle before I got one-shot by a giant plate guy with a spear, it was awesome.

I took pictures and stuff - after I play a bit more, I should be able to write a summary of the first few hours.

On an unrelated but meaningful note, I received today (took 19 days) the package I sent myself from Buffalo with the few goods I bought in the US.

19 days (Italy's fault) and 62$ (USA's fault!), just for shipping a few books and a couple tshirts  awesome, for real

Is there any form of local coop, or does 2 players mean 2 separate consoles?

I haven't gotten mine yet. After it left Hong Kong I wasn't able to track it. I'm hoping today...

I'm in California! That's like, right next to Hong Kong. Where's my copy?

Still nothing here (also CA).  Usually EMS is ~3 days tops.  Sadness.  Maybe my postman is playing some Demon's Souls even as we speak...

Wow. This game is hardcore. I finally got alive again and yet I don't feel like I accomplished all that much. :P

You could always play Baroque.

Well, once you get into the swing of it, Baroque isn't really punishing.

In Baroque, death is a learning experience. In Demon's Souls, death is something else entirely. I fully expect them to change the name to "Lost Soul's" in America or something equally poopy. Demon's Souls is so generic that it wanders into awesome.

I don't think Online Mode is going to work. At least my initial foray into the system met with immediate "You aren't going to be able to connect to Playstation Asia" or some such.

Edit: Well now I have to get it to work if schild has got it running. Those notes on the ground would have been hyper useful in certain areas of the first level.

First boss was awesome.

In Baroque, death is a learning experience.

Very true but that aside, Baroque isn't punishing even if you pretend death is to be avoided.  The first time I died in Baroque was when the game forced me by teleporting me to the the bottom floor.  I might have died once in battle in that game, but the vast majority involve leaping out of a window. Ohhhhh, I see.  But, of course, death is part of the story as well as the game mechanic.

If you ordered through eBay from that guy it'll end up with your regular mail. The package is not much larger than a regular letter.
