question...

I know the game is region free (and in english if you get the "Asian" version), but how does the online component handle playing an asian game in NA?

I'm going to buy a copy and put it in my Xbox, because this game offers the best 'Unrecognizable Disc' message I have ever seen.

THIS IS THE MOST I HAVE EVERY WANTED TO GET IN TO A BETA

You know what? I didn't want any spoiler but the wait is eating me alive. DETAILS!!

What's the character progression/customization like? How does it work?
Loot? Cool? Varied enough?
World? Large, small, varied?

Froth?

Froth away.  Also, check the nets for Demon's Souls videos.  They're excellent.

I ate that link alive, but I need more. I need more f13 than real info.

If we can all wait just 2 weeks, we'll have about 10-15 people with the game all talking about it madly. It's probably best to keep spoilers to a minimum. I even avoided select stuff on that page.

I'm clicking nothing, reading nothing and in fact staying away even from this thread now until I have it. This looks & sounds like a game that's going to have a very high first-play coolness factor.

Correct! Only the "asian" version though. Most ebayers and sites specify which you're getting.

I don't own a PS3, or I'd buy it as well....

SO, I know the VA/Subs are in English, but what about the game text, like for inventory?

It's not EMS.

It's Hong Kong's postal service.

From page 2 of this thread:

They don't need a strike to lose, burn or steal your mail around here. They do it for fun all the time. True story.

Seriously, you can read Bukowski's Post Office from 1962 and that's basically an ELITE service compared to what we have here in 2009.

So yes, yes it is. I am not going to win that race. And I am not even sure I'll ever get the game.

So, um.. why is that? More accurately, why the fuck hasn't it been overhauled at some stage? I understand Greece is pretty shitty as well.
