What's the deal with fort guns?  I see the slot on my inventory to use them, I see the guns at the gunsmith.  What stats do they work off of?

Yeah I was wondering that too. Is there any point at all in a Worker even having one?

I assume so, since there are Worker Towers in which to fight from.

The stats used for fort battles are: Leadership, Aim, Dodging, Hiding and Stamina. So workers have the potential to be highly effective.

edit: Hiding is only relevant for fort defense, and stamina is only relevant for fort attacks; all the other three are used by both attackers and defenders.

Just equip a fort gun in your right slot. From looking at our stick we seem to have a huge gap in weapons, with none having a level 4x requirement. It's probably better just to have any weapon right now. Whether guns will appear as drops from jobs remains to be seen I think.

The medium fort in our county has been claimed by some town 2 squares NW of us, which seems odd. Also -LN- are attacking a -FOM- fort three squares east of us tomorrow. I'm thinking I might swing by and join as an attacker, to see how things go, although I can envisage a dogpile as everyone tries to get in to see what's what.

Ah cool; n.b. there's both a shotgun and a shot gun (each with respective rusty/precise versions), which seems to be a by-product of the translation. They have different stats.

It gives me some weird German warning that loosely translates to "you are not able to continue..." when i try to add my cotton to the supply... any idea what I am doing wrong?

The cotton stack isn't full and there are 3 empty slots even if it were. Are you sure you're actually in the Fort?

Edit: Never mind. Dumb question. I can see that you're there.

Sorry to come across as ignorant, but is there a one page synopsis of forts and what they're all about?

I tried clicking through the help link and ended up landing on a page written in German.

"Should the batman kill Joker because it would save more lives?" is a fundamentally different question from "should the batman have a bunch of machineguns that go BATBATBATBATBAT because its totally cool?". ~Goumindong

Next level of barracks unlocked.  Verbal gets 400-ish construction points these days; is it worth sending her over to build anything at this point?

Yes, I think so - I'm at about 570ish, but need to wait on motivation.

-- We do need to coordinate building, as any overlap goes away rather than to the next level.  So she ought to post here when she builds (or check Chatzee).

Says she's got enough motivation to run 3 hours on barracks.  I'll pester her to drop in some cash too, she's just going to blow it on clothes otherwise :P

Are those all accurate?  I dropped in the second hammer for barracks; it only asked for (I think) 4 cloth/4 cotton/2 hammers?  Or do I misunderstand something horribly?

Just started another 2 hour job building Resources which should take it up to 80% or so completion. Someone else should take over at that point as I'll be out of energy and under 90% motivation.

A lot of stuff will have been balanced from the beta server so it's not 100% accurate but it gives you an idea. I think the developers reduced some of the material needs on certain building but again it's all not very well documented so that's about the best info you got to work with. Also I will just remind everyone in this patch level 2 towers don't do anything.

I think the -FOM- people just stuck that in the splash info for that fort; for other fort battles there doesn't seem to be any way to get information about who's attacking.

I cant recall how I saw the information but it clearly showed the attacker and defender.
