If I get KO'd after queuing up construction in town, does the town regain the money that was taken out of the bank for the construction or is it lost?

If it's lost, then builders shouldn't build unless they are immune.

If one queues sleep but cancels, is there a penalty?

Cody McGyver, Jack Crowsbury, jytzen and Noob-man2 are currently at our town. I certainly wouldn't get back with my $300 haul using a donkey if they're awake. I just dueled miller7009 again and within minutes got this telegram from Shotgun Joan Collins:

Hello princess,

I will be on my way to your town shortly. Once I am there I am going spare no one. I have already ko'd 4 of your useless members...I will be looking to ko another 4-6 today.

You guys are really terrible. You should think about abandoning your town, and playing another game.

From this, I deduce that miller7009 is Shotgun Joan Collin's worker alt.

Exactly ten minutes after I dueled miller7009, Cody McSlowpoke tried to duel me, but I was sleeping for free in their four star hotel.

Correct. Its a ban able offense. They should know this, they themselves are quick to report people.

Edit: im stupid. I forgot that i could just leave bat country walk down then rejoin. They extremely abuse having their adventurers not be in the town unless unloading cash or buying gear. Makes them have a constant stream of revenue that cant be touched by war.

The rest of their workers have either been hit and are in the hotel, or have been in the hotel for more than 8 hours and are cowering at the prospect of facing a lone adventurer. I'm inclined to drop guild, walk to their other town and ask for an invite back...

Me too.  Wanted more drama, especially real life threats, those are always fun.

How are we to play this?  I've considered dropping town and rejoining only to build, but only because they're doing it.  Then again, can we be better than them in terms of not cheating and still kick their asses?

Also, need an answer here on building.  If I get KO'd while building, after queuing up construction jobs, what happens to the money that gets taken from our bank for those jobs?  Is it spent or does it go back into the town bank?

I don't think we should build unless we're immune from attack. Actually, I'm not going to build at all until I get my Construction score up. I suck compared to the other builders in town and my building is just a waste of money right now.

My current immunity expires in about 6 hours and I'm trying to arrange for it to happen when I'm low on energy and need to sleep anyway.
