Even the rusty shotgun should be a decent step up from the slingshots.

... I take it back, not much of an upgrade at all. The difference between it and the precise is huge.

We're pushing to five then.

People who are on the bottom / lowest level players are going to be dismissed for higher level / cash providing players. If you're below Level 10, focus on getting yourself higher level. If you need town services, just let me know and I'll do a swap invite.

Looks like we will need more residences if interest continues to grow as well.

We already need more residences. We get a LOT of PUG invites, some experienced that I hate to reject. But we have enough people to warrant one more expansion.

Oof, this quest wants me to travel to the east side of the world, then the west. On the plus side, I earn 2 levels worth of experience.

I just got my third note piece.   And a little while ago I got a grey slouch hat, which is +8 to traps or something.  DRILLING AND MANLINESS  Trading rules.

I have done 16 hours of trading so far with nothing more than a few bolts of cloth to show for it. I did pick up a +11 shooting and +3 appearance neck while breaking in horses though. Shame I'm currently useless at combat and invested in melee.

Haha, 12 hours, 42 minutes to cross the world. That's at nearly double speed FYI.

Sorry about missing your invite.  I didn't see it in the spam of reports about all the jobs I'm doing.  You can invite me again whenever you want.

So are we still getting attacked? My 48 hours of immunity is up tomorrow morning and I'm wondering if I should expect to get knocked out again.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure we're still being bombarded.  If we're not going to negotiate some sort of truce I'm tempted to buy a shiny new shiv and start cutting up some of their workers.  As an adventurer I can live in their hotel for free and cause them a lot of grief.

You know pretty much every single large town in our area is part of that alliance. Provoking them is in my opinion an incredibly stupid move. Is this why F13 guilds in every single game except Eve fail miserably?

I donno, maybe this is *why* EVE has worked out so well. Those other games don't allow you to do this as much.

Sorry to seem bitchy. Maybe someone could explain to me the clever plan behind our apparent unwillingness to engage in the diplomacy that every single other major town within walking distance seems to be involved in.

I'm talking to them. But if people don't respect certain ground rules (don't attack builders), we're gonna be in trouble.

We managed to land in a county with few people settling down and no major competition in our borders. If we don't fuck this up we'll own this area.

I spend all my time jobbing/questing, so I have no problems agreeing not to attack workers or whatever.  Then again, I don't suffer all that much from being attacked since I never go seeking out duels, so eh.  It seems like as dumb as the PvP mechanics are, unless you're a PvPer yourself it's pretty easy to limit the harm that can be inflicted on you.

Copper people are going to lay off our workers and adventurers (me in particular, once I pointed out that, no, I wasn't a "Hybrid Adventurer"), but duelers / soldiers, in their words, "not so much."

Is a hybrid adventurer one who has a better weapon than your soldiers? Because I'm aspiring towards that.

Lorekeep, does this mean their adventurers and workers are off limits now or just builders?  Should we focus hostility in our own area?

Lay off their workers. If you see an Adventurer equipped for dueling, go at em.

Cody McGyver was at town as I set off for work. Benedict Arnold just showed up. Both are Copper Springs, so I imagine a third will appear in a few minutes and beatings will follow.

Cody appears to have left. I sold some junk, bought one of the primo daggers, changed my dodge setup around. Stuck my remaining money in the town coffers because it was almost empty.
