I think the % chance for products is the chance, on average, that you will get one of that item with 1 hour of work.  Sometimes you'll get more than one, sometimes you'll get none, but I'm pretty sure it's per hour, not per "job".

From the help...

When you work on a job for 30 minutes you have the stated probability to find the work product for this job. If you work for 2 hours you could find four items if you are really lucky.
Unrelated: I've realized something that may have been obvious to everyone else.  If you need to save up lots of money to buy something big or for a quest or something and it won't fit in the bank but you want to keep it safe from duelers, accrue it in the form of goods, and then sell them at the store right when you need to cash in.  I need to poke around and figure out what jobs might give you goods that sell well despite having poor cash pay...
Branding cattle is not bad in that regard. I found lots of horn doing this for xp, the drop rate is only 13%, though.

Ah, that'd explain why I get two items in an hour sometimes.  I just figured they had some sort of probability distribution that allowed for a small chance of getting more than one item in one period.

I spent all 8 levels so far into trapping so I could be an adventurer and outfit the town.  Now I wish I went duelist.

I'm in the general area of BC now, been leeching off the hotel.  awesome, for real

Wait, what?  There's shoes that help with turkeys?  I need that donkey stat.  I'm now cockblocked on two separate turkey quests and I'm about 4 levels off from being able to hunt them, and that's if I dedicate every skill point to that goal.  I'll trade $400 batcountrybucks for 15 minutes of residence so I can get the cheap donkey.

Wait, what?  There's shoes that help with turkeys?

Brown cotton shoes: +1 strength, +3 stamina, +5 hiding.  That +5 hiding is worth 10 labor points for turkey hunting.   DRILLING AND MANLINESS

Adventurers rise up!
 Shaking fist

Anyway, I should have my donkey fund soon and will leave so others can get invited.  I meant to give the rest of my cash to town but that did not work out.  I will donate whatever is left over.  We need level 4 residences (and maybe even 5?) for the rest of Bat Country!

Adventurers don't get to dictate what we need, especially when they're running a "donkey fund"

Huh?  I am rabbling about the lack of a level 10 class item.  While I prefer the town large enough for us all it is hardly me demanding anything.  Builders can do their thing, I will continue to collect and donate.

Defending the fort gives you flags which sell for like 50$.  Pretty small drop, but at that price...

Yeah, I need one for that stupid quest.  At a 2% drop rate you'll average a flag every what, 25 hours?  Not exactly a cash cow.

The game is better than most if not all regular multi millions dollars mmorpg.  It should get 16$ out of me for a couple of months. How fucking sad is that.
What's the budget for that game, less then 100k?

Know what I like about this game?  It's not disrespectful of my time.  If I want to grind something for two hours, I can click the "grind this for two hours" button and walk away.  I don't even need to write a macro for it.  Civilization.  More time for min/maxing my stats and reading quest text.

Yeah leveling is a bit wonky as far as speed goes. I'm doing Lv. 22 quests that give me 10% the XP I was getting at Lv. 11.

The game actually tells you at some point early on that questing is often not the best way to advance.  Sucks for the completionist or the person who needs a quest reward.  Just gotta find the job that pushes XP the best.

The job calculator at west stats is pretty good at that.

Right now I am going for dex/setting traps and will respec later for duelling. I suggest looking up west stats, right now there are a few quests that get much much easier if you do them in the right order, because the quest reward from one quest enables you to finish another without spreading your skill points all over the place.

Respeccing is pretty expensive. I wouldn't count on changing your skills quickly anytime soon.

Anyone got a lot of cash that wants an invite? We're about finished with Residences 4 and can get everyone in.

He just attacked me too. I didn't realize you could get so much fucking experience from a duel.

The sad thing is the guy is winning duels because his stats are super buffed by equipment.

I'm now a Mexican on a donkey who fights with a rusty razor blade.

Caballeros is still there.  Let me know how you get on fucking him up.

(edit) Wait, I just read the help, and it doesn't look like where the player is actually matters; you have to go to their town to challenge them to a duel.  Even if they're already at YOUR town, where you are.  What the fuck?

I'm not a member of a town so I can't fuck him up just yet.

I do notice that he has the exact same gear I have, though.  That's kind of weird.  Imagine two Mexicans on donkeyback fighting with rusty razor blades.
