So what has the dueling situation been lately? Are people still waking up dead and penniless?

I haven't been dueled once yet.  I try to deposit all my earnings in the treasury regularly anyway.

Hopefully we have more housing coming?  It seems Bat Country numbers are growing fast.

Mo money, mo housing.

(edit) We have room for one more right now, looks like.  Also, we have a tailor, and some of these new rags are actually an upgrade!  Sweet.

Can you respec? I really shot myself in the foot getting level 10.
Me too. Really need to focus a bit more from now on.

Oh, and if I could finally get an invite, I could finish that donkey-quest and reach level 10.

Not that I am impatient or something.  awesome, for real

I'm in the area. I have only got around donkey money so far, but if town needs cash in the near term, I can donate first, donkey later.

I'm in on this too, only lvl 2 though and still going through the noob quests.  It put me only 3 hours away from Bat Country though, for when it's time to head there.

Sent an invite to Hlem. Beastro and Copper Springs to the north have Blue and Black Headbands for $80 / $16 apiece.

Thanks, I'll accept once I am finished with those fences (30m + travel time)

Shall I leave the city as soon as I got the donkey  ? I read it flags me for PvP ?

Don't worry about it, we need to build new residences anyway.

Ok, so this is about the bandana/headband stuff.

Blue Bandana (needed for level 14 skills change quest):
Romania (1 block N)
Denmark (1 block NE)

Black Headband (for level 15 quest):
The Empire (1 block NE)

Unless I've got this wrong and missed something you should go NE to get these two things, as there is no Black Headband to the north of us. So what Lorekeep said is not correct! (got the headband/bandana colours mixed up).

I got some cash to donate if a slot opens up - I know I missed my invite chance earlier, but the window was only 6 hrs long!

Looks like we need one more level of Residences at least, whats the cost to build it out another level?

Time. We can swap one slot as we get cash but we should be getting the rest of the 100 point buildings in for completion's sake.

The dueling mechanic in this game is a piece of crap. I just almost killed myself by hitting the duel button 3 times in row trying to complete a quest because it didn't tell me I was losing hit points.

Uh oh. Looks like respeccing costs $50 a point and increases by 10. So, not cheap. $250 per attribute point.

I guess the plus side is there's no level cap, so eventually any mistakes you made in your first 10 levels will be made irrelevant by all the points you used in your next 100 levels.

I'm going to need you to tell me exactly how you're going to make good on that bet before I take you up on it.  Are you going to go to Goodwill and try to find a real-world approximation, or are you going to eat your monitor?

I will print it, cut out the shirt and eat that.

Alternatively, I can put it on a microsd card.

We will figure it out when someone hits level 109.

You should use it as a Miang Kum wrap.  Wrap up some lime, peanuts, shallots, and coconut in there.  Man. . that sounds so good I might do it without a wager.

Edit: Oh also, I'm still available as a resident with about 400 bones available for town use.  I just unlocked Cattle Branding so my leveling is about to take off like a rocket.  But this crazy Indian keeps hunting me down and dueling me, even though all I got is this broken bottle.  What an asshole.

I'm up to around 450 gold now - so I can afford to buy an ass and donate $200. Of course, once I have the ass, I can probably contribute even more, since the rewards later in that chain are in gold (and I already have the corn). Guess I should try to unlock cowboy in the meantime. Or turkey hunting. Or tanning.

No, it's an NPC.  Fighter of the Red Hand.  He does like 50 damage to me every round, so I'm of the opinion that I'm too low level for this quest.  Or I need a Clint Eastwood-style boiler door under my clothes or something.  Fortunately, he doesn't take any of my cash after he kills me.
