We filled up but I'm sure we can get you in after someone has deposited their cash.

You're going to have to kick yourself. There's auto-protection to prevent me from kicking someone who just joined.

Bumbling about weststats I've been looking at the best ways to get $, experience and items early on/ahead of the curve.

$$$:

45% Building Coffins - at 118 Job points, for construction/repair types.
31% Carving Out Claims - at 56 job points, for red/yellow types.
11% Milling Grains - 24 job points.

Exp:

47% Building Railroad station - at 112 job points, for construction types.
45% Exploration - at 111 job points, for general types. (also high luck)
32% Breaking in horses - at 71 job points.
25% Branding Cattle - at 49 job points.

Luck/Items:

64% Transport Ammunition - only 144 job points, dueling types.
25% Trading - 84 job points, traders.
15% Building Irrigation, 44 points.
8% Picking Corn, 24 points.

It looks to me like people aiming at Exploration could level pretty fast while getting good items and the like. I'd probably have done my skills better if I looked at this before... I might aim at branding cowboy/cattle/breaking in horses now. They use the same skills and offer a quicker path up than other stuff it seems.

OK, I've left the town again and freed up a spot for someone with money.

I have something like 330$ available and I'm also a worker if need be to build stuff up!

Name is Leodido and I'm in the vicinity of the town.

I think I screwed my stats. I'm finding it hard to get from 9 - 10. Milling is the only high XP yield task I can do.

You'll just have levels like that. Just wait it out and try for a job with decent luck; clothing helps a ton in getting better jobs.

Aside from Stream fishing, what else has high luck around level 9?

It's got pretty high luck, but I don't think that's worth it.  When I hit that slump I just went for jobs that had the greatest XP %, rotating it out to make sure my motivation stayed over 90%.  Eventually I got over the hump and I was able to do more quests (which is far and away the best XP source).

It's worth noting that it's probably a bad idea to queue up more than 2 hours of branding cattle at any one time. Got smacked just as hard as Lore did with a lot fewer health points. Happily, I got my horn in that time.

Yeah, Town Hall got another 16%, hah. It's not bad if we raise Town Hall, makes the rest easier.

But Residences 3 would be great so everyone can be invited now.

Leodido's got the latest invite. We're working on Residence 3 now so we can have more people in at a time.

Am I ever going to need a fishing rod?  I've just found one and apparently it's a pretty rare drop.  Is it safe to sell it?

Someone who seeks spoiling information could probably tell you better than I. I haven't checked out higher level quests but I am hanging onto those handcuffs I got in an early quest since someone mentioned it.

Is the fishing rod worth a lot of money? For 10 or 20 bucks I'd just hold on to it myself.

I just hate having lots of crap cluttering up my inventory.   tongue  Wish there was some sort of safe deposit box for stuff I want to keep just in case but don't have an immediate use for.

$21 to sell.  Maybe it'll show up in the general store someday and I won't have to worry about having sold off the only one in the world.

Musashi first. once he says he leaves I'll toss Aez an invite. We'll have mostly everyone after Residences are finished.

We can swap people in, get your donkeys, and deposit your cash, no problem. I think our original roster of 15 has grown to 20+ though.

Out of curiosity, does anyone have any idea about how many construction points you need to have to make useful (i.e., not just throwing cash down the crapper) progress on construction? I don't have crap in construction but I have serviceable leadership and repairing.

Is it possible to buy stuff?  I have a couple of quests which looks impossible for my class.
