You should still try to get a key from a Founder first, before resorting to that trial.  If you activate a sub off a Founder's trial key then you get the $9.99 rate instead of the regular $14.99.

Reminds me of when I told my wife that Founders get horses early.

Reason #762 I love LotRO: their hot elf marketing mascots are not dressed like sluts.

Nothing in this post represents the views of my current or previous employers.

Yes, they only had a set amount, and its been what, over a year and a half if not more since the founder program? (it was a preorder/lifetime thing if i recall right)

A founder is wayyyyyy different than just the lifetime sub.

I think the first 10 referrals from founders get the founders' price offer (which they frequently offer to anyone regardless).

I still have 6 or so left and I'm sure there are others like me. Problem is you want to know (trust) who you give them to because if they get banned you might also get banned.

I have 7 Founder keys left for anyone that wants one.  As Jamiko said the referrals can reflect on me so I'll limit them to long standing members of F13.  From what I understand you don't have to be a Founder as defined as someone who pre-ordered the game, you simply have to have the Founder pricing.  So for the 7 keys I hand out, any of those that get converted into a subscription will then also have 10 Founder keys to hand out.  So I'd imagine there'd be plenty of keys to go around if we start a chain.

I didn't speak up earlier because I figured people were already handing out Founder keys and I didn't really care about the free month credits so I was letting other people get the credits.

Yes, but what I'm saying is you don't have to be a Founder to hand out Founder trial keys.  You simply have to have "Founder Pricing".  That's my interpretation.

Emphasis is mine.  Again, my interpretation I don't know for sure.

I'll take two if someone wants to hand them out (myself and wife). It'll be a couple of weeks before I can even activate them though, and no promises on loving the game so much I subscribe..  awesome, for real

PM me if this suits. Ta.

Brandywine.  I imagine my Asherons Call kick will wear out next month, which is good for people.  Real good.

WTF is up with this retarded patcher?  I'm only getting  1kb downloads, so now that the game itself is done downloading the tutorial will now be done downloading in 2 days.  swamp poop

Gah! Non-standard ports on patchers.

I just checked out the trial, pretty cool.  Tried the two new classes up to level 3/4.  I like the idea of the Warden seemed fun.  The Runekeeper was odd.  Was looking at the spells, you get a lot of them, but it seems like a large jumble.

Anyone play them to any extent?

I'd forgotten how good the game environment looks and sounds.

Both are extremely viable solo.  I did a comparison in another thread.

The Loremaster is a jumble while the Runekeeper does mostly two things: hurt and help.  Not at the same time.  My dwarf RK is surprisingly resilient, although I did take a death once when I didn't keep running when I should have... three times.  I kept thinking that those Dourhands must have stopped by now, but each time I looked behind me I got a couple of axes in the face.  Being able to cast a HoT on yourself helps a lot, and being able to cast two stacking HoTs on yourself helps even more, as does paralyzing your foe which is one of the few non-damage/non-healing spells I have.  The RK is almost as awesome as the Hunter, and he doesn't need a bow to be his best, so maybe he is more awesome.

If you haven't tried this game yet you really should.  If you have DX10, this game is very beautiful.  I have a Rune-Keeper at 12th now and it's a fun class but nothing earth shaking.

Most soloing is fairly fun, but the real fun to me is grouping.  It can be very satisfying to run in a good group.

The game has some faults, but overall an incredible simulation of Middle Earth.
