True words, there. Friggin' everywhere. The Den to the Undercity. There was a gathering of alliance players in the courtyard of the undercity last night and the horde could only produce a single lvl 30+ character.

Good thing it's not a pvp server, I guess. Because those night elves are EVERYWHERE. I'm sure their ability to stealth has nothing at all to do with that...I just ignore them if they're ??, but it's damned annoying trying to play with someone following you around clucking like a chicken. Not quite as annoying as constantly being ganked by the majority of the server, I guess.

I had an embolism with all the idiot names on non-rp servers. Your catastic levels didn't help much either. I'll probably hang out on Cenarion Circle for awhile. Got my Druid up to level 15.

Just remember to leave general chat and you're usually safe.  Plus, you can make fun of people with stupid names while you wait for the blimp or are strolling through Ogrimarr.  Nothing quite compares to a 13 year old trying to verbally pwn you in broken english.  Fuck, if I can handle it, you can.  Nothing bothers me more than stupid names, but you learn to just use it as an interaction filter.

Ok, earthen ring is east coast. I am in Arizona. I was getting 150 to 300ms pings to earthen ring. Shadowsong (PVE) and Cenarion Circle (RP) are west coast and I get 15 to 100ms pings to them. I guess I'll start up on Shadowsong just to harass Rasix. He needs it.

I think I'm the only f13 person on my server at the moment. ><  To warn anyone before coming over:

-My group consists of 3 people, 41-43. 2 shaman and a mage.  We probably won't slow down for a while.
-We're all on around 9-12PST. The other 2 are on a bit more than I am usually.  
-Tradeskills covered: alchemy, tailoring, enchanting, blacksmithing, mining x 2, herbalism
-No guild as of yet.  It's hard to form or join a guild when you have the following preconditions: A) We won't participate in any mandatory raids. B) Just because we're in your guild doesn't mean you get free stuff. C) If we're doing something, we're not going to invite you in and probably won't let you join us unless we need you.  D) We will yell at you for being stupid. We will make fun of your stupid name. (I could write an entire article on this I think)   Suprisingly, no takers.
-Horde side.  

Anyhow, free shit if the materials are available. This means bags, potions, what have you. And especially free if you provide the materials.  And help with quests if we're (well, probably mostly I) not busy.  Too bad shaman can't buff ><.

Anyhow, for west coasters, this server seems pretty solid. And yes, it's PVE.  I'm a big wuss and I don't like being harassed while questing.  And shockeye, don't reroll if you're getting tired of it.  I burned out fast on CoH doing that.

But every jackass who sees alliance has to announce it, even though they probably aren't there for pvp. Put localdefense back on for raids and weekends, which I mostly just pvp through.

Anyway, I'm still on Earthen Ring, although I've not been playing very much.  My life will settle down soon, I hope, and I'll play a bit more with a clear mind.  I've been a bit frazzled lately.  Righ also plays on Earthen Ring but we have been mostly playing some alts that aren't in the guild.  When I do play my main, I rarely see anyone from the guild on... but I have mostly played during the day.  I did, however, see Ego riding his mount around town, smugly waving his peen.  I guess he's a rich boy by now.

GAH. I'm not looking forward to somehow grinding out the other 70 gold I need to buy a mount. Luckily, I'm a shaman, so it not THAT much of a necessity. Still, it would be nice for the e-peen and to have everyone in our group running to stuff at a decent clip instead of mage-speed.

Heh, I'm on PvP+ server and ever since I came to the Barrens at level 10, there's a ton of chatter about Alliance invading the Barrens, to go along with the auto-system generated "under attack" messaages... ...mostly it just scrolled by, ignored, along with the "Someone stole the Shredder. Luzzlewig will have our hides!" and "Verog the Devilish challenges you to come to his tent..." ... ...if someone repeatedly spams nonsense, that is what /ignore is for... ...including the "LOOKING FOR  1 MORE FOR WC, PRIEST OR WARRIOR!!!!"  

Funny deal is there are set of mounted Alliance NPCs (named elites in their 20s that put a hurting on me once or twice...) that roam through the S. Barrens -- at first glance, new players mistake them for real players and spam the general chat  when they discover them...

For being on a PvP server, I haven't done much PvP except for helping out a Alliance invasion in the Barrens a few levels back when I just moved pet then attacked enemy casters... ....and a little cat and mouse deal I played with NE rogue in Ashenville... ...been in Stonetalon Mountains a bit lately but Alliance gets stomped quickly there...

I'm tempted to make some gimmick characters on the Alliance side though.

I think both add a nice touch of character and at least promote some roleplaying, making the game more fun. Need more stuff like that, less ooc retardedness, imo. I can live way better with "hey, mon" than "r u gunna join us dude?". Diff'rent strokes, I guess.

Finally tracked down WoW (after several abortive attempts that lead to me nearly killing everyone in my local Circuit City and being comped a copy of HL2 for the enormous inconvenience I underwent after going to extreme measures to insure I WOULDN'T be inconvenienced, but I digress).

Started a Troll Rogue named Grishak last night and worked him to nearly 7th level. He has Skinning and Leatherworking in the midteens, so send me a tell if you need a leather kit! LOL

So far, I like it. I HATE HATE HATE the cartoony avatars, but the gameplay is pretty fun, and the quests don't feel entirely Fed-Ex-y. I am pretty impressed with the strategy guide- it was spendy, but holy SHIT is it big and full of info. Sachant and her partner have outdone themselves this time.

I got sucked into taking my mother christmas shopping last night and while she looked at some ridiculous gewgaws, I slipped into EB. I was impressed with the strategy guide for WoW and bought it as well. I don't even like strategy guides, but it's good quality. Well, except that index thing...
