Can I get a rollcall of everyone on Earthen Ring, your main names and your alt names so I can get in touch and start up the guild. Still need 8 signatures. Even if I've already talked to you in game, can you post here for clerical reasons? Thanks.

Edit: can I get your classes and tradeskills as well? Completely forgot to ask. Oh and frontpage has a news item up. If any of you all want to join in on the blog. Just ask.

Edit 2: Horde side because good is dumb.

Soukyan - Tauren Shaman (no tradeskill yet but will most likely be Alchemy/Herbalism unless Tailoring or Leatherworking really strike me which is doubtful after having done Blacksmithing)

[edit]Also made an Undead Warlock named Greta (for shits and giggles), but I won't be playing her much.[/edit]

I made Trippy, Troll Shaman, on Earthen Ring. I don't plan on playing him much but if you still need signatures I can run him to wherever you are at the moment (assuming I can survive the trip at level 1).

Currently:

Moonsoon - Tauren druid.
Bolborro - Troll priest.
Sotto - Undead mage.

They're all level 5 or so, and I'm a noob since I haven't played beta.
EDIT:  Not playing them much, bumbling around with alliance races on another server for a bit.  Mages are fun.

Hello,

I was hunting around the Barrens with Kekela. Was wondering if I could join the guild?

The comic you put in the Img tag above is the one GU uses to keep people from remote linking. It was about pr0n.

Though the one you later linked is funny to.

The most startling thing was that when I followed the link is that there was an advertisement for Ryzom on the page. It had a scantily clad cartoon fantasy woman with the words "Wanna play?" below. This may entice some people, but coming from a toon with a face like Eddie Izzard, I suspect the appeal is more limited than it might be.

Jesus, its Hibernia all over again.  Only now the one plus to the clusterfuck - seeing elves die horribly - has been reversed.  The horror.

Those stats are for both alliance and horde. Since shaman is horde only and we are outnumbered three to one it only looks like they are the least popular.  Of the horde they were 54/359 which is a good sized percentage (15%).

Guess I'll need to grab Cosmos to check these stats for Argent Dawn...I had no idea that the Horde/Alliance imbalance could be so bad.

This site lists census data that people submit.  On Argent Dawn, just like Earthen Ring, night elves outnumber all of the horde races by themselves. Terrifying.

Which just reinforces the fact that you should never underestimate the attractive power of Elf Boobies.

So what you're telling me is that most MMOG players on Earthern Ring are TEH GHEY? Is that why I seem to see so many damn night elves everywhere in Hordeville?

That and the fact that the Night Elves start on and do much of their questing on the Horde continent.  Probably the same reason most Alliance people think Undead make up 75% of the Horde.  I've never seen a single Human, Dwarf, or Gnome in Ashenvale or the mountains.  Only occasionally in Barrens or Needles.

And I think the skewed numbers come from the fact that the Horde population doesn't respond well to census takers.

"Hi, I'm from the Greater Kalimdor Census, and I was wondering how many humanoids live in your cave."

"Dinner!"

"Oh, sorry.  I interrupted your dinner?"

"No.  You Dinner!  For the Horde!!"
