Count yourself lucky. I'm Scottish, so the Dwarf voices are unbearable too. It's almost as bad as listening to Robert Duvall in A Shot At Glory.
Ever get to hear the voices in EQ2? Now that's annoying! The Fagloks have the worst yank-trying-to-sound-limey accents I've ever heard! (and most of the voices are embarassing to hear [must...kill...all...hobbits *cough* halflings *cough*]).

The Iksar with their fake extended s's really annoyed me as well. (and most of the voices are embarassing to hear [must...kill...all...hobbits *cough* halflings *cough*]). There was one Hobbit voice I liked which was a female armor vendor who used to say something to the effect of "Qeynos needs her defenders to come back safely and we make sure they do." She said that in such an earnest voice that it always brought a smile to my face. It seemed like they took that out in the later parts of beta, however, which was kind of a bummer.

Speaking of languages, how exactly WERE you supposed to learn another races language?
I understand that all Alliance races start with "Racial Language" and "Common", so a dwarf would know Dwarvish, and an Elf would know Elvish, etc.
Not sure what the "common" equivilent was for Hoard side.
But how does a Dwarf learn Elvish or Orcish?
I did find it rather cool that language covers both spoken dialogue AND written text though. Was doing a quest on my Dwarf over in Elf territory, and had a quest to read these two history tablets. I had done the quest before with an Elf, but the monster concentration around the area prevented me from keeping focus on the tablet long enough to read all the text (and you cant interact with the objects again, once you have read them, or if you dont have the quest). Since my Dwarf was much higer level, I figured, hey, cool, I will finally get to read all the stuff on these tablets. I was mildly surprised to find the tablets actually written in Elvish when I tried to read them (rather then translated into readable english when I read them with the Elf).
Now that I have finished that mild derailment, back to PVP and stuff.
Another thing to keep in mind. Whichever side you choose, you will be STUCK with, on that server. You can not have both an Alliance and a Hoard character on the same servers. It wont let you.

Well, I checked their site, looks like everyone is still going to Archimonde. I don't wtf is goin' on then.
EDIT: Anyways..I'm 351 on queue. Probably a good idea to move somewhere less populated...How many of you are playing on a non-Central server?

So far the only major guild I ahve seen is the Goon Squad, and man, those guys are every where.

I was pretty impressed because this was about 10:30am, a half an hour after most stores started selling it. I didn't find out until later that some places had started selling it at midnite the night before. Speaking of guilds, do we just need to PM you to get in yours?

Well I ended up joining a mountain server. I couldn't get into any central. Those severs are going apeshit and will be crazy for a while now.
The queue for my server is only a couple hundred and that seems good compared to many others.

One of the things Ford Prefect had always found hardest to understand about humans was their habit of continuously stating and repeating the very very obvious, as in It's a nice day, or You're very tall, or Oh dear you seem to have fallen down a thirty-foot well, are you all right?
