You can search for Zones. Ing told me his Zone, I typed it in the search box and poof, there was Mularn, ruled by Ing the merciless :) The Trade window will tell you how long it will take to trade once you find the specific town.

It's a nome, dammit! A NOME.

My pharoah name is Zahra, ruler of Qena, by the way, in case you're looking at Rasesh and wondering where Sjofn is.

Sure, but those can be named the same thing also. I don't actually care if we use Bat Country, but if we all had a uniform city name, things would be easier... I think.

Okay.  I forget where I change it even though I changed it before.  I never find what I'm looking for in this game.  Also, my neighbour sent me a scroll saying howdy.

25 cedar on its way, Slayerik.  Looks like you're also on the other side of the world from me.  Glad I have 5 ships to play with, as this makes 3 of them that'll take a week to get back to me.   why so serious?

Lemme know if you want to do a straight-up cedar/emerald trade, Ace, and for how much.  I'm running low on bread atm but am cranking out the lumber at top speed.

I'll take that offer. I'm up to my ears in emeralds.

Edit: I'm also looking for gold so I can start with the jewelry making, if anyone's interested in a trade.

Right now I'll go ahead and take the 50 for 50 so I can get a small fleet built. My Emerald empire shall soon rule the Nile with a well bejeweled, yet still iron fist.

I guess I need a ship - I'm upgrading my palace to 3 at the moment.  I'll have 25 leather by the end of today, I think.

So people around me are all level 1 and a few 2s, and I've cranked up my bread production quite a bit so I can snag other resources as they appear for 1 bread each.  Is this a good or bad idea?

Ships come back instantly, at least thats what the forums say, the time is one way.

Rare resources for 1 bread each are an EXCELLENT deal, since each laborer can only harvest one rare per hour (and he'll eat one bread in that hour).  Other resources (wheat, clay, reeds) are not, because they require less labor to harvest (one laborer will eat much less than one bread in the time it takes him to harvest one unit of a common resource).

Let me know when you have an exchange and I'll hook you up with some cedar so you can build a ship and send me leather.   DRILLING AND MANLINESS

Sending now.

How the fug do you trade?  I don't see any cedar sales on offer. So bread is the currency?

cedar feels like a cockblock

1) players with cedar can build ships and travel -- they only need cedar and bread, so they are self sufficient (25 Cedar + 100 Bread = 1 Ships)
2) players with ships can trade faster and farther
3) so players with cedar can found new cities, since ships are a requirements and a few trade items

Thanks Samwise - once the boat is made ill send ya that bronze

Now looking for Emeralds in a bad way, 25 would do the trick! Have bronze for trade or we can work something out.

The boat will MAGICALLY teleport back after it reaches the city it was going to. Why they do not use this technology to GET there, I will never know. :(

Maybe you haven't been reading the thread to see how this shit works.

They say "hey Sam, I have some X, will you send me some cedar?"  Then I say "hells yes bitch, I will hook that shit UP" and I send them some cedar.  Then they build a ship with some of the cedar I send them and send me an equal amount of X (where X is their city's rare).

It's fucking MAGIC.

Second question: yes.
First question: click on their town from the map and click TRADE.
