So what's good for a third city?  I've got cedar and henna right now and I'm torn between either leather or bronze I think for the third.

I will take all the Kohl, Gold, Oil, Cosmetics and perfume you have. I currently have 17,000 henna and 13,000 bronze. I only have 9 ships total, so shipping could take a while.

Spend 2 hours and upgrade your exchange!  Sheesh.

Your warehouse must be huge.

I don't have much cedar.

I'll send you some cedar if you send me some henna.  Or bricks.  I don't need any bronze.

You thought everyone would enjoy a link to a thread on the official forums with some pimple-faced wanker bellyaching about the imbalance of a largely meaningless scoreboard in a beta MMOG, complete with "I remember the time when" fake Internet credentials?

Why?

Who's still playing this?  My upgrades have all gotten far enough apart I'm only having to click a couple times a day, but it's still a long road to 4th cities and I'm not sure if I'll make it, as I'm positive as soon as I hit the 4th city I'll just quit anyways.

I'm still in, and working on my fourth city. I think I may have it by next week. Thankfully my city is pretty much in maintenance mode, making this the low impact game I hoped it would be.

I'm close to maintenance mode, I just have to send emeralds/gold to jewelry city twice a day or it runs out, although if I fuck up and miss a day or something I just get a buffer to work with next time.  Upgrading 6 cities to level 15 (my current goal before 4th city) is a royal pain in the ass though.

Something like this, though I assume you mean 3 cities.

No Nerf, but I put a link to this very thread and I said that you all can guarantee for my purity. I even mentioned your case, and see if they can take a look at your lawn from a Michigan perspective.

I need a new Henna supplier, Slayerik is having too much fun being single to log in it seems (boo).

Other than that its almost frustrating how little there is to actually do.  I'm about 65-70% of the way to my fourth city on the luxury goods side, but haven't been rushing because it takes a fair while to build your exchange and warehouse high enough.  I have all the bread I need, the bricks wont take too long once I have the warehouse high enough.

The market has been pretty stagnant lately, even with the higher demand for troop raws now, Limestone really sucks, so even logging in to play the market regularly is losing its charm.

You can skip the warehouse if you produce the capped stuff in other cities.  A city can hold an unlimited amount of any good, but if your warehouse isn't high enough you can't create any more of that good.  Set your capital to produce only bread and stuff you trade, make bricks etc in your 2nd and 3rd city and keep shipping them over.  You'll still have to upgrade your exchange, but it saves ya the warehouse hassle.

Yeah I'm over cap for all the luxury goods already, its just stopping brick production mainly which would be annoying.  I could just store any excess at the monument sites I guess until I need it though.  Hmm actually thats not a bad idea.  Its less the bricks needed to upgrade the warehouse that is the problem that it is the 24+ hours it takes to build now which is just boring.

This Greasemonkey script is pretty rad.

Adds convenient links to all the buildings in your city (so you don't have to go back to the main screen to go between buildings), gives you a one-screen overview of all goods for sale in your market range, and shows you how long before you fill up on or run out of each resource.

New feature added in the latest patch: once you max out your palace, you can build a tomb and retire from the game (leaving your tomb behind).  The higher your ranking at the time you build the tomb, the more impressive it looks.

I think this is a pretty elegant way of solving the inevitable problem of newer players being unable to compete with established players.  Also, there is now a win condition, sort of.

All buildings max out at level 22, I think.  Once you have four cities with everything in them at level 22, there is literally nothing else you can build.  The "immortality" option unlocks as soon as you get one palace to level 22.

So I have grown tired of this game, it feels like a chore and nothing more, so I'm out.

Of slightly more interest, I have sent my breadpile(261k) and brickpike(20k or so) to my monument titled "1" in 166N.  It's undefended, come and claim it if you want it.

Why don't you try our other games?

They cut the warehouse capacity way down.  As far as I can tell the lead developer felt like nobody appreciated their warehouses because they didn't upgrade them often enough, so he gave everyone severe warehouse shrinkage to punish them.

 swamp poop

Luckily they're also cheaper and faster to upgrade now, so if you spend a day or two just upgrading your warehouses you'll be back to normal.

I was like hours away from my third city when I got blindsided with the warehouse change.  Now a couple days removed, I'm almost ready to buy it.   Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?
