Why are you sad?

By the way, if you go to the site and don't see any changes, hit refresh and it'll load up the new design.  There's no new functionality, it just looks nicer.

I'm sad too because I've become bored again.  I might cancel for a while.

I wish CoH/CoV charged by the week.  That's about as long as I last anymore.

If you're bored right now you can probably wait until I14 to resub.  I13 should be good, but unless you want to try Shields or Pain Domination there's not a huge amount of new content being added.  Custom missions will be the big new addition and it's delayed until I14.

Yes, I'm sure I'll re-sub when I14 comes out.  Like Nebu and some others, I always end up re-subbing for a while and enjoy myself for a few weeks or so.  It seems to wear off too quickly, though.

I thought it was evident enough without the link.

Anyway, it is a nice redesign and you can pull a free trial off the front page if you want.

I'm still playing and enjoying CoH/V. Got a villain on their last stage to lvl 50 and the Halloween Event was fun (popped often, generally easy to get to, easy to find a team and take part).

Nebu and Signe, are you all still solo'ing?  If ya are, I could see how you all get so bored in the game.  I would go nuts (okay, more nuttier) if I had to do everything by myself.  But Freedom and Virtue have enough people on at all hours (I usually find a group or they find me) and willing to do all kinds of things, that it still stays fresh for me.

Yes, I'm on Virtue and there's always someone around if you want a group.  I solo a fair bit, too.  I feel as if I've been playing this game my whole life sometimes.  I played all during beta and I've been mostly subbed the entire time.  Even when I don't play for a few months or so, I generally stay subbed.  I haven't played so much since I had that problem with my hand and the last few weeks, when I do log in, I can't seem motivated enough to stay and play much.  I haven't used CoH as my main MMO for years.  It's the one I play when I'm regular MMO-less.  It just gets very repetitive if I play more than a month or so for me, groups or no.  I always come back, though.

I solo or duo with a friend while we chat on Skype.

As many will tell you, I'm a pretty antisocial person and don't go out of my way to join pugs.  If I could find a regular group of people (that I knew) to play with, I'm sure I'd be on more often.  I don't know what my problem is, but I just can't stomach having someone that doesn't know me telling me how to have fun.

If you want to group, I will gladly roll a toon on one of those servers (I've been on Pinnacle since release).  My global is @histology.  Send me a tell sometime.

I'm Signe, but I'm pretty sure you know that.  I just get weary of looking at the same stuff all the time.  Breaks are a necessity for me in this game.

More Pinnacle people?  Hope I can remember that whenever I sub again.

Hahahaha!  I'm really good at this!

I'm on Virtue.

If you are planning on resubbing, I'd wait for I14 with the Architect system of player created missions. Also by that time the PvP changes will have probably settled down.

Ok... so the verdict is that I should play on virtue if I resub?  Do you guys play heros or villains?

Looks like they'll be releasing a Mac native client soon.

Freedom for Heroes & Virtue for Villains, but I'm game for joining up with a group of you all, I know we had an F13 group on Victory Heroes for a while too.

I think some of my characters MIGHT still be in Bat Country on Victory.

I created a new thread for this info, or else no-one will ever see it down here ;-)
