One of my all time favourite movies. The only movie were we spent two hours discussing it with complete strangers after we watched it.

A definite top 5 for me as well. No movie fucks with time as well as this one, but it a seriously cool way.

I had no idea what this was about when I saw it - had read nothing, heard nothing, had no idea about the whole reversal thing. Confused the CRAP out of me for about 20 mins and then I got it. Was awesome, love it when films surprise me like that.

I love this movie.

Whenever I watch it I get sad that Guy Pearce pisses around his talent so much.

OMG IT GOES BACKWARDS?!

I think this film is a one trick pony. Watching it the second time was painfuly boring.

The Proposition is a much better film with Guy Pearce in it.

Definitely a watch-once film.

To me an 'everyone should watch once' film. Some movies aren't that great a second time, but if the first time blew you away it's all gravy.

Indeed, I was blown away the first time I saw it. But after I got the whole picture I realized there wouldn't be anybody to root for the second time. They are all more or less hateable.

Caught this one by chance, having no idea what it was about and I too was blown away... Guy Pearce is incredibly talented, why have we not heard more from him (saw Ravenous, he was good in that as well). Pretty amazing movie.

Some people just get it right in a movie or two and then suck otherwise.  I was a big, big fan of this movie.  It was very well thought out and tricky.  I think it is a two time through movie.  There is too much going on to catch everything the first time through.

On that point, I still can't really figure out if Leonard is faking his memory loss or not.  The deal with the insurance agent and the guy with his wife threw me off a little.

This part is one of the reasons I liked it so much.  Contrary to some people, I don't care to have everything neatly explained in a film.  Or book.

Still don't plan on watching it again.

Pearce's foray into Hollywood films left him pretty disenchanted (and he was apparently stoned during a lot of it). Him playing a petty bastard in "The Count of Monte Cristo" was fun though.

He's being doing more arthouse movies - "The Proposition", "Til Human Voices Wake Us" and so on.
