Scale? Isn't "tween" like 11 and 12?  Not much of a spectrum there.

She looked 18-19, but probably wasn't.

If tween actually means 11 and 12, then Lantyssa does me a great injustice, and I might just have to repost the pic again to illustrate.  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

She didn't look THAT young. I think tween is a stretch.

Went looking for costume stuff tonight and I was reminded why I don't shop with other people. I hate other people's opinions.

Tween might be a little excessive, but she was jailbait.  She was not eighteen.

Hahahaha!  I'm really good at this!

Not costume or jailbait related, but I'm festive. This is the greatest Halloween song ever:

I did Bill Lumbergh. I was apparently spot-on, and also hot. no, I didn't get anything out of it, so don't bother asking.

Yeah, I went back and watched Office Space once more to "study." Ohhhhh, I see.

It's getting close!  Hurry up!  Cut eye holes in a paper bag, put it over your head, wear some combat fatigues or a uniform, and go as the Unknown Soldier.

PS  I sort of like the bucket head guy but I don't much like the cat masks.  Also, Bhodi is the cutest one of his bunch!

I did. I worked on the accent. He would then shuffle over and I'd take some of the candy.

Nah, not so many. You can look if you want to see a whole bunch of my friends you don't know and will probably never meet :) Almost everyone had a costume, even if it was lame.

Did anyone else do costumes this year?

Oops!  swamp poop I just said that because of the two background people in the first pic. I didn't mean to sound like I said the party was lame. I'm sure  it wasn't.  smiley

I'll try to remember to get ahold of pictures of my Lumbergh.

It wasn't perfect, but...well, probably the most effort I've put in since I was a kid.

Something just bothers me about store bought costumes (even the ones that aren't stupid as the above). I mean, like complete costumes. Hard to escape buying some things though.

I'm having a terrible time finding a denim jacket, went everywhere I could think of today but still no dice. Didn't stop into Wal-Mart yet but I was hoping it wouldn't come to that. Do they still require a dirty wifebeater to get in?

Is there a specific type of denim jacket you need? Because they're everywhere really.. If you're not meaning to alter it just for the holiday, just get a Levi's. A good jacket to have in general.

Just a plain old denim jacket. I've only seen one at a Kohl's but it had a fur lining to it coming out the top. Checked Old Navy, Gap, Sears, JCPenny, etc.. The Canadian border is 30 miles away, shouldn't they be everywhere?

Yeah, that's strange. I usually see em at the places you check (Sears, JC). Try Dillards or Foleys.

Never heard of Dillards, nearest one looks like it's about an hour away. According to the internets Foley's is now Macy's which I didn't check since it's a bit of a drive. Hopefully I'll have better luck tomorrow since the party is tomorrow night.

AT least in NJ, yeah, I guess.

I haven't personally worn a jean jacket since....oh, elementary school? I've never felt warm in one anyway.
